What should I do to correct my Hair at home?

I colored my hair a medium brown( to cover outgrown highlights) and applied copper highlights using Herbal essences for dark brown hair. However, I dislike the all over copper look I now have, especially on the crown of my head. I am wondering if I should start over from the base color and use Loreal's Highlight Styliste(I have used this before with good results for Dark Hair) or leave the base out and add definition with the highlights. I am usedto coloring my own hair with the help of my sister. However 4 mths ago I decided to let a professional go all out and she lightened the base color on the crown of my head only then applied highlights. That is why, even though I coloredthe base before, it was not as dark as it should have been at the crown, so when the copper lights were added, the top of my head looked allcopper. Please suggest what I should do to add definition. I KNOW professionals are the best but in my country they seem to be NON existent. Thanks!

For one please be careful to not damage your hair with all of the dying. I would say wait at least a month before going back in and make sure you hair is healthy enough to handle another dye job. I would say honestly wait and let it grow out because I fear your hair breaking off with damage. Do be careful an aware of this.

Any type of dying can prove be harsh to the hair and it also depends on what grade of hair that you have. So I would say condition your hair and wash it to build strength and healthiness in your hair. Report It

Every time you put any type of chemicals such as dyes or straighteners they tend to strip the hair a little bit and makes the hair weaker than before. Report It
