The directions state to "towel dry" your hair. So, my question to you: Would it work better with completely dry hair, or slightly damp hair? Keep in mind that I'd like the color to stay as long as possible.

take a shower first- then do what it says- towel dry ur hair- meaning rub it with a towel after u get out of the shower- so it will be slightly damp. then just have someone put an "orange" size amount of the color mousse in their hands and rub/massage it in
use the whole bottle, make sure to get the roots and the underside and then let process for thirty minutes and rinse

Definatly on slightly damp..... I find that a spray bottle filled with water works best, because you can control the amount you put on!
