I have medium blonde hair and I need to dye my hair black temporarily for a play. On the website it doesn't really say if it is okay to use on my color hair or not. Has anyone tried this or know anyone who has and did it stain their hair? Are there any other good dyes I should consider?

Black will definitely stain blonde hair. No doubt about it. It will not wash out. It's like squirting KoolAid on a white wall. It stains.
Go to Sally Beauty Supply, look for spray on temporary color. It's more of a hairspray base that will shampoo out.
If not, why not just buy a wig.? It's very common that people in the theatre use wigs. No need to ruin your natural hair for a play. Wigs are perfectly acceptable on stage.

i have medium blonde hair as well and i dyed it purple using the chill plum colorpulse a couple of years ago. I was expecting, as advertised on TV, that it would rinse out in 2-4 shampoos. I found out the hard way that that statement was false, and i had purple hair, which faded to red, which faded to pink for about 4 months, when finally i went to the salon and got it dyed back. I strongly dont recommend this product if you're only using it for a play! you can buy some hair spray dye at the dollar stores for cheap.

I used the black shade of color pulse on my darker blonde hair for Halloween and it turned purple! it says on the box not to use the black color on lighter hair but i decided to ignore that. so unless u want purple hair don't use it. Another thing, my hair is still purple, especially where i had light blonde highlights, if u have highlights its also not smart to use!
