A few questions about my hair?

Is there any special way that you are supposed to wash ur hair? Like starting from the top or bottom? Is there any great shampoo that u reccommend? I use Finesse mosturizing shampoo and conditioner. I used to use Loreal Vive Pro body and style infusing shampoo and conditioner. Are these good shampoos? I have straigh, thin-ish hair. I sometimes use the CHI straightening iron to fix my hair. do u kno any tips that would help my hair? Thanks in advance閳?br>A few questions about my hair?

you should only wash your hair like every 2 or three days and condition every day. you shouldnt use shampoo that has alcohol in it.

A few questions about my hair?

I've heard to wash and condition your hair every other day. When you shampoo your hair I think you're supposed to concentrate the shampoo at the roots of your hair. Then, when you rinse out the shampoo the suds go down the lengths and reach the bottom, so it's unneccessary to shampoo your whole head. Conditioner should be applied on the lengths, not at the roots, or you could end up with hair that looks greasy. I think that the shampoo's you use are fine. Have you tried Tressemme? I've heard that it is really good.

Loreal natural match haircolor?

any time you color your hair it will cause it to be somewhat damaged and dry even though it is a gentle hair color i suggest using hot oil treatments afterwards and definately using a conditioner hope this helps - from a cosmetologist

What should I do to correct my Hair at home?

I colored my hair a medium brown( to cover outgrown highlights) and applied copper highlights using Herbal essences for dark brown hair. However, I dislike the all over copper look I now have, especially on the crown of my head. I am wondering if I should start over from the base color and use Loreal's Highlight Styliste(I have used this before with good results for Dark Hair) or leave the base out and add definition with the highlights. I am usedto coloring my own hair with the help of my sister. However 4 mths ago I decided to let a professional go all out and she lightened the base color on the crown of my head only then applied highlights. That is why, even though I coloredthe base before, it was not as dark as it should have been at the crown, so when the copper lights were added, the top of my head looked allcopper. Please suggest what I should do to add definition. I KNOW professionals are the best but in my country they seem to be NON existent. Thanks!

What should I do to correct my Hair at home?

For one please be careful to not damage your hair with all of the dying. I would say wait at least a month before going back in and make sure you hair is healthy enough to handle another dye job. I would say honestly wait and let it grow out because I fear your hair breaking off with damage. Do be careful an aware of this.

What should I do to correct my Hair at home?

Any type of dying can prove be harsh to the hair and it also depends on what grade of hair that you have. So I would say condition your hair and wash it to build strength and healthiness in your hair. Report It

What should I do to correct my Hair at home?

Every time you put any type of chemicals such as dyes or straighteners they tend to strip the hair a little bit and makes the hair weaker than before. Report It

What is the best brand and shade to dye previously dyed hair from medium blonde to platinum blonde?

i wanted to use loreal feria's bleaching kit but it isn't recommended for hair that's already been dyed =[

What is the best brand and shade to dye previously dyed hair from medium blonde to platinum blonde?

here is a site for you it is miss Clairol's hair colour site it will show you the right hair colour for your hair have fun with it and you an download your own pic for it too....

What is the best brand and shade to dye previously dyed hair from medium blonde to platinum blonde?

get professional help or risk doing some serious damage to your hair. Over bleaching can cause your hair to break off near the roots. I've seen it happen to people that over process their hair.

I am thinking to dye my hair, any feedback for Casting Crema Gloss of Loreal? Does it work?

Suave and loreal detangler doesn't work in my3 year old's hair...WHAT WOULD?

Johnson's No More Tangles works very well on my niece's hair. It cost's about 3.00 $ at Target or Walmart. Makes her hair very soft, more curlier and tangled free.

try soma leave-in conditioner. its FAR better then the ones you have mentioned, but there is no miracle. patience and a gentle hand is the only thing to really erase those knots. The soma leave in is the best leave in i have ever used.

I have naturally dark brown hair with alot of red pigment. I have been dying it blonde with loreal?

Anyway because of all the red pigment my hair always looks brasssy. (9 have tried Ash, Beige, etc) I can't find a color that will complemente with my milk white skin. Browns wash me out %26amp; reds are to brassy. HELP!

I have naturally dark brown hair with alot of red pigment. I have been dying it blonde with loreal?

I can tell you a sure-fire way to get a color that matches your skin tones: Wear your own! Seriously, when you alter your hair color you have to be very, very careful to make sure that the new color is a good match for your skin. As you have discovered, this is quite difficult. Your natural hair color sounds very beautiful to me and I'd suggest that you wear it proudly. You will look lovely.

I have naturally dark brown hair with alot of red pigment. I have been dying it blonde with loreal?

what you will have to do is if you want it blonde because of the brass it will take you more then one session with blonde. First try a lightener that gets you to the brassy stage then dye your hair blonde one more time. Then your hair should be a shade of blonde.

What is the best at home hair dye to work with? loreal? clairol? which one doesnt make your hair bra

Herbal Essences is awesome! It's a bit pricey but the color you see on the box IS the color you get in your hair, even if you go from black to blond! The comb in highlights work beautifully too. Very easy to work with, not runny or drippy, the solution stays in place, and the smell is not as strong as other hair colors.

What is the best at home hair dye to work with? loreal? clairol? which one doesnt make your hair brassy?

L'OREAL paris. umm it depends on the color of your hair. i would go with a champagne. if your hair is light. and you can buy products like the john freda collection, they have certain shampoo's and conditioners and glosses that go with this. it lightens your hair and makes it feel REALLY good after dying it.

I have long, healthy dyed black hair and I want the black out! Does Loreal Haircolor Remover Kit wor

I have black hair and I've been dying it permanent black for about 2 years now and I'm ready for it to come out. My hair is extra long and super, super healthy! I don't want to damage it so if split ends and stretchy hair is to be expected, please let me know!

I have long, healthy dyed black hair and I want the black out! Does Loreal Haircolor Remover Kit work?

Don't let anyone tell you that black hair dye will not come out. However, do not try it yourself! Go to a professional salon and ask the stylist to use a product called "Eliminate." Not only will it take out the dye, but it doesn't damage your hair. I had a super black dye job taken out and it was amazing! All of a sudden my natural hair color was back. I then had it dyed a different color with foil highlights and no damage. The key is having this done professionally. It may be pricey, but it's worth it.

I have long, healthy dyed black hair and I want the black out! Does Loreal Haircolor Remover Kit work?

NOPE!!!!! It will only turn the hair orange, at best.

The best thing to do is let it grow out and just keep trimming it....

I have long, healthy dyed black hair and I want the black out! Does Loreal Haircolor Remover Kit work?

It will most definately damage your hair. It will break it off and cause it to be stretchy. I had black chunks in my hair, and when I tried to use this prduct to get it out, it didnt come out. It says that if your hair is black you might have to do it twice. That means double the damage.

I have long, healthy dyed black hair and I want the black out! Does Loreal Haircolor Remover Kit work?

Once you color your hair black, you can' never get the color out.

I have long, healthy dyed black hair and I want the black out! Does Loreal Haircolor Remover Kit work?

darling, black and red dye are the hardest color to get rid of... needs the assistance of a profesional so they can decolor your hair... otherwise if you apply the new color by yourself it will get only in the roots.

don't decolor at home 'cause you may burn your hair...

best of luck...

I have long, healthy dyed black hair and I want the black out! Does Loreal Haircolor Remover Kit work?

go to a salon to have this done. Those color remover kits are strong bleach and will damage if not break your hair. Have the salon use a color remover. THis will shrink the color molcules and allow then to be removed. The color kit you mentioned if a strong bleach solution which will eat away at the color and inturn eat away at your hair.

I have long, healthy dyed black hair and I want the black out! Does Loreal Haircolor Remover Kit work?

Honey, once u go black you can't go back!

But I highly suggest u highlight ur hair a lightbrown color, and wait till your roots grow in. That way your roots won't look too light when they grow in. You could also do a "full head" highlight service at a salon and it bleaches away the black but you'll still have strands of black in your hair. Hope this helps.

I've always liked Loreal but wondered if there was a brand that works as well for a better price.

I have tried every hair dye there is, and the one that works best for me is Herbal Essences- I use the bleach blonde. It comes with a really good deep conditioner and it makes my hair feel healthy even though I am dying it! Good luck :)

Hair is blonde and i hate it?

i just highlighted my hair.. my hair is a natural medium brown.. not very dark.. but you know..mediumish. i got loreal frost%26amp;design (a carmel color) i did this before and it came out fantastic. i did it again, and it came out wayyyy tooo blonde in the front. the back looks fine though, i can deal with that.

it just seems like its too face framing blonde, and it makes my natural pink skin tone contrast horribly. i cant redye it back to its original shade.. i cant do any form of dying..

is there any tricks anyone knows? or how long it takes for this stuff to start to fade? or anything!!! please help

Hair is blonde and i hate it?

I bet it looks very nice...i bet u r over reacting...put up a pic so we can see...i bet u look fine...enjoy a new look, you'll probably get some compliments.

Hair is blonde and i hate it?

you can dye it back in a week if you want to

Hair is blonde and i hate it?

Seems like you have quite a problem because no mater what, it's going to be un-even. If you dye it back you will still see the streaks more in the front and in the back. Which could be ok, it's up to you if you would be ok with that. Try dying it a darker colour to really black out the streaks. If thats not a good option for you, go to a salon and have them fix it for you. They could even out the streaks in the back for you, or pick out the lighter streaks and make them darker.

Hair is blonde and i hate it?

You can actually "lowlight" your hair in the front, the same way you highlighted it. As long as you use the semipermanent, you can do it right away. You can use a semipermanent color in a light brown, or a darker blond. just add a few streaks of this darker mixture to break up some of the blonde. Just make sure the color you put on is not an ash color.

Also, highlighted hair won't "fade" if you used bleach, which is generally used for highlighting or frostiong. It is there until it grows out or is covered up.

Hair is blonde and i hate it?

You could use Natural Instincts home color (can buy at any drugstore or Walmart, etc.) in two shades lighter than your natural shade on it in a couple of weeks, at least 2 weeks so you don't dry out and damage it w/ the chemicals. The reason I stated two shades lighter is because if you go w/ a shade like your natural color it will grab in the blonde and actually look darker than your natural color. I know, I tried dark brown to get my blonde streaks out and got black hair instead of dark brown and my stylist explained to me that this was what had happened. Or you could use a dark blonde to tone it down a little until you can get it cut enough to get rid of the color. But whatever you do, moisturize, conditioner, conditioner and damage cream like Cholesterol treatments you can find at beauty supply stores like Sally's. Best of luck!!

Hair is blonde and i hate it?

highlights dont fade they oxidize. what you can do that wont damage your hair is go back to the store where you got the frosting kit. find a medium golden blonde in a semi permanent color which says it lasts 24-28 shampoos. and apply it all over your hair.

your hair is still open from the bleach and the new color will cling to the bleached areas making them toned down to a golden blonde color and it will not upset your natural color. it will not damage your hair and it will keep it shiny and healthy

Will loreal color pulse show up on bark brown/black hair if i leave it in long enough?

im thinking of trying auburn...

if i leave it in for a little longer,

will it make my hair color a little

more noticibly different?

thanks!

Will loreal color pulse show up on bark brown/black hair if i leave it in long enough?

color pulse is a deposit only type of temporary color. It will give you a hint of the color you put on, but won't make it any lighter. If your hair is that dark you may want to try a more intense red so it doesn't get lost in the darkness.

Will loreal color pulse show up on bark brown/black hair if i leave it in long enough?

If your hair is Naturally that dark it should make a difference. But if its artificially that dark it probably wont. I wouldn't leave it in for more than 45min though.

Will this hair colour look alright?

Hiya, In the mood to dye my hair a natural colour since it's getting pretty expensive to keep up the colour i have now.

I have really pale skin with pinkish undertones and crystal blue eyes. My natural colour is light brown. I don't want to dye it too dark or black. Also my hair is about an inch longer than in the photo.

Will this hair colour look alright?

Wow! I love your hair color in your pictures. I can see your a bit bold, have you tried red? I'm never good at picking colors, but I do know that with the color of your skin you do not want to go too dark or too light.

Will this hair colour look alright?

i think that would look good on you

it would bring out your gorgeous eyes!

:]

Will this hair colour look alright?

i like your old hair better, but this would look fine. your pale. blond looks good with pale skin.

Will this hair colour look alright?

i highly suggest you go to a stylist to color your hair back to a natural color. box color on top of those colors in your hair will not turn out right. it's all about the color wheel, and you are going to to need a professional to mix the right colors to get the one you want.

i also do not recommend using feria. it contains metallic dyes which are going to mess up any chemical service on your hair you do while that dye is on your hair.

it will be to your advantage to pay the extra money and have it done right.

Will this hair colour look alright?

yes you are very pretty.

Will this hair colour look alright?

it'll look good but there will be like this week long period where you just feel wierd because you go from this bold purple to a natural looking color, but i think itsll look really nice

Will this hair colour look alright?

Go for your natural colour with a hint of reddish highlights. With your skin colouring, that would look hot.

Will this hair colour look alright?

Yeah, that color will look really nice!

Your hair is awesome now, but I know what you mean about how it's hard to keep the color. I used to have my hair purple and it always faded to a weird grayish color.

Anyways, I also think red would look gorgeous on you (like the Sunset Blaze on that site) or a darker brown (like Sparkling Amber or Chai Latte) because brown would look amazing with your skin and eyes.

Honestly, you could probably pull off any color, so I'm sure anything you choose will look awesome.

Your eyes are stunning by the way.

Good luck!

Will this hair colour look alright?

i think you will look nice what matter what. who cares about other people opinion. aif you like then do it. good luck with your hair and Merry Christmas!!!

yea you can with colour at home kits like herbal essences extra blonde fearless colour ( thats what i use) once you go platinum blonde its really difficut to maintain and you literally have to dye it every other week and it damages your hair, But that didnt stop me lol and i do love the colour so go for it

I dye my hair blonde at home with loreal, if i go 2 a good salon and get it 2 that platinum blonde color, can i

you should be able too. just watch out for roots. although I believe loreal makes a root kit.

I dye my hair blonde at home with loreal, if i go 2 a good salon and get it 2 that platinum blonde color, can i

You can do it at home. It's really not that hard, and I've found from my experience my hair always came out better when I did it myself...hairdressers tend to man-handle it resulting in damage and they never give you the shade you want. They give you what THEY think would look good. If you ask for platinum they'll think light wheat.

Whichever color you decide to use, check the side of the box and make sure your hair closely matches the before color so you know what you'll end up with. Or test a lock of hair.

(Yeah I'm not that big on going to the "pros" if I know I can do something just as good myself.)

Don't use color pulse! its awful stuff i did it for fun and it didnt wash out of my hair so i looked like a tomato was squished on me for like a month until i hadd to dye it! go for natural instincts or even a permanent dye

My wife wants to know, what is the Hair color that Eva Longoria has in the loreal paris commercial..

5.3 Chocolate Macaroon

My wife wants to know, what is the Hair color that Eva Longoria has in the loreal paris commercial...?

Check the website. On the website it states that sheis wearing Coleur Experte and it looks identical to the color 53 box that they show in the ad.

She also might watch the commercial and look for small print at the bottom of the screen. Often the ads will state which product and number the model is wearing in small print at the bottom of th screen.

Im using loreal preference permanent hair color and would like to know how much 40 volume to mix wit

equal amounts?? its the professional liquid-creme formula (2fl oz bottle)

Im using loreal preference permanent hair color and would like to know how much 40 volume to mix with it?

40 vol is used to bleach wigs. It is not to be used on hair unless it is with a frost and even then will cause some damage. If you let it lay on your scalp you may get burns. i dont know who gave you that information but I am a professional and would not use it with reg color on the scalp.

Has anyone used Loreal Superior Preference Helsinki on naturally light brown hair - How did it turn

I have been getting my hair professionally done at the hairdressers for years now but just cant afford it anymore so would like to start dying it from home. Was told this shade should lighten my roots to the colour my ends are but when I looked on the box it said not to use on light brown hair. Really don't want to try it out and have it stuff my hair up and end up at the hairdressers anyway. I just dont want to end up with orange hair.

Has anyone used Loreal Superior Preference Helsinki on naturally light brown hair - How did it turn out.?

i hate loreal for 1 reason...they test on animals....make innocent animals suffer thru painful and deadly procedures....like forcing shampoo in their eyes and hair dye down they throat...my recommendations....dont use it:)

Has anyone used Loreal Superior Preference Helsinki on naturally light brown hair - How did it turn out.?

If it says on the box not to use on light brown hair, don't go there. You will probably end up with badly damaged hair, stripes of different shades of yellow to orange. Root retouch should only be done by an experienced colourist.

If you cannot afford a hairdresser, why not try modelling nights at local salons or colleges/training schools.

Has anyone with dark hair used chill plum and electric black loreal color pulse dye?

I'd like to know some variaties of color to expect before i put it on my head. I know its temporary and i could honestly careless if it turns out to be a funky color, i just want to know if it will be a vibrant funky color. On the box it shows a dark dull purple.

Has anyone with dark hair used chill plum and electric black loreal color pulse dye?

You're better off going to Sally's Beauty Supply and mixing your own dyes. They have pretty much every color there, so just pick one out and get some 30 or 40 volumizer. Then just mix equal parts of the dye and volumizer and put it in your hair!

If you're unsure about what to do, please ask one of the women at the registers! Mixing dye is not too difficult, but make sure that you know what you're doing before you do it! There are 4 levels of volumizer, 10, 20, 30, and 40. 10 or 20 probably won't do much for hair as dark as yours, you'd need either 30 or 40. 30 volumizer will lift your hair 3 levels and 40 volumizer will lift it 4 levels, so if you want a more vibrant result use the higher volumizers.

Color Pulse + Dark Hair = No results

I have black/dark hair.

I used one of the purples.

It had NO EFFECT at all.

Not even a slight tint.

Which loreal shampoo is best for dry and rough hair?

please tell me about the loreal brand of shampoo and conditioner.which is best loreal or biolege

Which loreal shampoo is best for dry and rough hair?

Invest in good shampoo and conditioner--I love Bedhead's Moisture Maniac. Store bought shampoos are as strong as laundry detergent--and you wouldn't wash your hair with laundry detergent. Try deep conditioning your hair 1-2 times a week. I love Bedhead's Dumb Blonde because it's very creamy and takes about 10 minutes instead of the regular 30 minutes.

Wash your hair less frequently--if you wash it every day, start washing it every other day. Use a dime-to-quarter sized drop on your roots ONLY. Rub it into your scalp with the pads of your fingers, rinse, and wash once more. When using conditioner work it from ends to roots. Leave it on there for 5 minutes and rinse with cooler water. Be sure to use the cool setting on your hair dryer and use as little styling product as possible. Some good ones are Biolage Gel, Mousse, and Hair Spray, and Redken Glass is great for making your hair vibrantly shiny.

You get what you pay for in the case of shampoos and other hair products. Going more expensive for salon quality products means 1) no harsh chemicals, 2) you use less of the product because of the richer consistency, and 3) you save yourself from a lot of damage.

How should I apply Loreal color (7blond)to my hair which is now dark brown?

The instructions given in it's box is all in French and I don't understand any thing of it.

How should I apply Loreal color (7blond)to my hair which is now dark brown?

Home colourants do not contain enough peroxide to lighten dark hair to anything other then orange. If you want to lighten your hair yourself and it has not been dyed already, you can use a high lift tint. A high lift tint is a cream that you mix with a peroxide (both available at your local Sallys). I would recommend shade 6 or 7 mixed with 12% 40 vol peroxide. A high lift tint will lighten your hair 5 shades without the harsh effects of bleach. If you choose to bleach your hair, consult a professional.

How should I apply Loreal color (7blond)to my hair which is now dark brown?

You shouldn't. You shouldn't try to mess your hair into being blonde from dark brown at home. See a professional before you turn orange!

How should I apply Loreal color (7blond)to my hair which is now dark brown?

Please don't do it yourself. You want to jump too many shades. I've heard you shouldn't try to dye your hair more than a shade or two lighter. So you could do a lighter brown safely. Please go to a professional. They have the right products and experience to make sure it comes out exactly how you wanted. Welcome to the blondes :)

How should I apply Loreal color (7blond)to my hair which is now dark brown?

omg no!!!!

it will turn your hair purple...

if you are going to do that either go get it done professionally where they will do it right or do it in steps....

you can not just go from a dark color to a light color....go from dark to a little less dark then a little less then light.

sounds stupid and it might not be the case for you but trust me...it has happened

How should I apply Loreal color (7blond)to my hair which is now dark brown?

yeah definitly going from dark brown to blond..you need to see a professional!!! your hair will be orange you will pay more but it will definitly be worht it....you would probably end up at a salon after you dyed your hair anyway...

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

ok i need help with my hair

i'm mauritian and my hair is like black/brown kinda like my avatar but not as nice its naturally wavy but when i brush it it,, dies.its so frizzy and my hair's really thick so it like ,, POOOFS

i can't even put my hair into a simple ponytail cos of the poofness i hav to plait it like a leash lol i only let it down after straightening it for like 3 hours i have a an emo side fringe and layers i thought layers would help but they didn't rele help is there no trick that i haven't been told about? oh i even bought loreal super smooth shampoo + conditioner but it din't really work i don't usually blow dry my hair i let it dry naturally is this one of the reasons of poofness and also my fringe is fine i straighten it like evryday but i can't do my actual hair cos it just poofs seriously any tips for SUPER SMOOTH hair? like silkyness xxx love you all

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

well i use this herbal essence frizziness lotion thing.

just get a small bit and rub it through your hair. and your hair should stay smooth

hope i helped =]

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

take one of those dryer sheets and rub it on your hair, it will help kill any static which may be a part of your problem.

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

silkiness comes from about an hour of straight ironing. we have the same problem!! i use a garnier fructisee straightening syrum, and blowdry. then i use a straight iron. over and over untill my hair is very soft and straight!!! it works!

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

well u probably shouldn't blow dry ur hair it drys it out trust me itll make ur hair even poofier.after u wash ur hair u should put some kind of moisturizer then braid ur hair into 4 braids depinding on how much hair u have then in the morning take the braids out and comb ur hair a little bit not to much.it wont be straight itll be wavy but at least its controllable if ur hair is dry then put a little bit more moisturizer in ur hair.email me if this works.

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

These are the steps i use:

-Wash hair with John Freida's Straight Ahead shampoo/conditioner.

-Rinse hair out with cold water(helps eliminate fly-aways)

-Use John Freida's Frizz ease serum after, while hair is damp.

-Blow-dry hair straight.

-Sleep with hair down, not in a ponytail.

-Straighten hair in the morning.

It works for me...hope it does for you too =)

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

Gosh sweety. Sounds like we have the same hair.

I have a ton of hair too, and it poofs out big time cuz of the curls and waviness.

I just did a video on youtube. Heres the link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUfhUtCa-...

I like to use John Frieda's shampoos and conditioners but SunSilks products work well too. None of them defrizz hair all the way tho.

What I suggest you do? After your hair is ALMOST all the way dry, use some Frizz Ease, John Frieda's Secret Weapon Finishing Creme. Apply a small amount thru the hair. Brush it out, then blow dry it out straight as you can. (hold the dryer ABOVE the hair! and blow down the hair!) Then go back thru it with a straight iron. This takes so little time to do, especially if you're on the run.

You'll never have super smooth hair, because of the curl. But you can get it so it stays flat as you can get it, for your hair type.

Hope this helps!

Carolyn

Hair straghteneing?

i straighten my hair alot, but it is still healthy-- no worries. i just got a product from loreal though for straightening, but the dirctions are confusing. it says it goes on after wet or something, but what is the point of the product? i think thats what im asking...and what does it do for your hair that they even made it? thanks!! %26gt;%26gt;does it keep your hair straighter, longer?

Hair straghteneing?

They don't do anything except protect your hair from the heat. I've got the loreal one as well. It does not make any difference visually but in time it will just protect my hair for as long as I straighten my hair. I think you should use so it doesn't damage your hair in a few years time.

Hair straghteneing?

Surely it will keep your hair straighter but it will keep straight only for three months. Its duration can also be increased by controlling the hairs in beauty manner.Say as keep the hairs open (dont ware any hat), its sufficient to take bath for twice a week rather than daily. Not to be in hot sun for long duration, not to comb your hair repeatedly.

When you follow these things then your hair will be straight and also it will be strong and long.

Hair straghteneing?

If you want a straight long hair you have to rely on the product you are using and need not to worry. A natural hair is beyond compare to a hair done artificially.

Hair straghteneing?

hmmm haven't tried that i might put it on my things to experience list

I want to put red streaks in my dark brown hair...can i use loreal color pulse..........how?

I would go with a deeper red. the mohogany would probably be good;)

I want to put red streaks in my dark brown hair...can i use loreal color pulse..........how?

Me too! High five! lol.

I have brown hair and want red highlights.

I don't know what color to get.

I need help i have dyed brown hair and i want to go blonde what can i do?

i dyed my hair blonde and it went wrong so then i dyed it with loreal which lasts 28 washes i think but it wont wash out its faided tho but i want to go blonde like light as blonde platinum blonde can a hair dresser do it in the 1 day i go or would i have to go back? and would it be easyier if i did it myself with a home kit to make it lighter for hair dressers or just use a home kit i need it done quick because i want it for holiday in a few weeks plz help me

I need help i have dyed brown hair and i want to go blonde what can i do?

my color is quite white blonde, and i use nice/n/easy number ninety eight.it transforms pretty easily after you buy a couple of them to start with use one first week then use the next one the second week, you should see a result. although it does take a while to get it as white as mine.

I need help i have dyed brown hair and i want to go blonde what can i do?

I know it's going to be more expensive, but it's really worth going to a hairdressers to get some advice. They may recommend that you have it done professionally. I had a friend who did this at home to save money and ended up damaging her hair so badly it had to be cut really short!

If money is a problem, ask the salon if you can it done by a trainee - it takes longer, but it's really really cheap. You always get good treatment too, as their worked is supervised by a senior hairdresser.

I need help i have dyed brown hair and i want to go blonde what can i do?

Hairdresser is the only option they will strip your hair and redo it. all in one day!

I need help i have dyed brown hair and i want to go blonde what can i do?

k, first, don't use the grocery store stuff. I like to buy cheap things but when it comes to hair dye you gotta have the best. trust me I have lost my hair over this. I would go buy a bleach kit at sally's they really aren't that expensive. I would bleach the dark out. but if you just recently did it, i would wait a bit like at least a month, you don't want to lose your hair. try to go to sallys and talk to the sales girls there, they can usually help. good luck:) and by the way that loreal WILL fade

I need help i have dyed brown hair and i want to go blonde what can i do?

If you go to a hairdresser they should be able to do it in one day. Would it be easier to do it yourself? Unless easier = cheaper than no, go have someone do it for you, you don't have to worry about it getting messed up.

I need help i have dyed brown hair and i want to go blonde what can i do?

Dont try to lighten with a home kit! this could go horribly wrong. What a hair dresser could do is strip your hair back to original color then dye it blond. this can be done in one day but you may need to go back for a treatment a week later.

I need help i have dyed brown hair and i want to go blonde what can i do?

It doesn't matter if your hair is brown somehow maybe you could be famous

Does Loreal Color Pulse work on dark color hair?

My hair is dark brown and I want it to be copper color without dying it permanently.

Does Loreal Color Pulse work on dark color hair?

It does work. But, make sure you follow the directions and pick a color that will work with dark hair. There is only a few of their colors that will. I tried the chilled plum and I LOVED it. Good luck!!!!!

Natural Match Hair Color by Loreal work on already dyed hair?

I thought it was supposed to match your natural hair so even though my hair is dyed can I use it? My hair is naturally dirty blonde but I dyed it darker. Can I use a blonde natural match? Will it work?

Natural Match Hair Color by Loreal work on already dyed hair?

its about matching the haircolor that your hair is NOW not what it was before it was dyed..i think to get back to what is you natural shade have to completely strip all the color out of your hair and then put the color closest to your natural color on the bleached out hair

Natural Match Hair Color by Loreal work on already dyed hair?

Did you dye it permanently? You can only bleach and apply the natural color on your hair then. But if it's semi-permanent, you can wash it a couple of times so that the color starts fading gradually, but it won't get all out at the same time.

The Natural Match Hair color is going to have to be the color your hair is in currently.

EDIT: I think you would be better off using the color match your hair is in now, since your otherwise going to combine your natural color with the one your hair is in currently because if the dye job...

Natural Match Hair Color by Loreal work on already dyed hair?

in order to find out what the process is going to be, you have to determine the natural hair color, which is your regrowth, the color of the rest of your hair, and where you want to be. Coloring hair is a process and the formulas are different for the regrowth and forthe rest of your hair. Then you have to make sure the hair porosity is healthy and able to take the color. what I recommend a retouch at a local salon to make sure you you get the results you want. If you can't wait, go to a beauty supply store and make sure the associate is lisensed before she gives you advice.

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

umm...i used Feria for a long time and had great results. it seems to be one of the better brands for DIY red colors because it doesn't fade nearly as quick.

i DO NOT recommend loreal Preference or excellence cream in any red tone. It FADES WAY TOO QUICKLY. also, don't ever use nice 'n easy.

I've had very pleasing results from Revlon Colorsilk. it delivers color evenly and richly, comparable to Feria. I've been using it for over a year now and am loving it! The only reason i tried it in the first place was because i like a color in their line. Just be sure that you buy enough product to cover all of your hair!

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

L'oreal Feria

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

Feria is an awesome product. I'm not a Wella fan at all...it fades too much.

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

LOREAL

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

L'Oreal Superior Preference is the best, I've used it to dye my hair red for a long time %26amp; get compliments on the "natural" color. They have some shades that work well that go beyond natural too if that is what you're looking for.

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

try garniea frutis (spelling?)

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

I've had great success in the past with Loreal products, however, to be safe, the best thing to do is see a beautician.

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

I think it would depend on your original hair coloring. If your hair is lighter than the red, then just get a 'wash-out' color and test different shades to see which you like better.

If your original hair coloring is darker than the red, I would definitely have a professional do it.

What ever you do , your going to do it, just be careful and don't end up with some 'permanent weird hair color' that will cost you more at the Salon to have them correct it.

Again, if you are determined to 'do it yourself' get as product that is semi-permanent so if you botch the job, the color will come out after several washings. Always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to your own hair.

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

L'Oreal

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

loreal feria is good. but also whats good is colorsilk. i know colorsilk is a cheap brand but it works good. that is what i use. the color lasts a long time... also what is good is garindear fuits (sorry dont know how to spell) is good. try chocolate peanut butter by them. its more of a dark brownish red. but in the sun the dark red is beautiful. i have people stop me and say how pretty it is. that is what i am wearing now.

What is the better brand to dye my hair red wella or loreal feria? or if none which other?

it depends on the color of your hair to begin with, nyn is naturally dark mahogany red, i wanted to try a new red for a rock concert i was going to so i tryed feria, it was so red it glowed, now i just use loreal expertise and i get the color i like with the sun kissed highlights i like.

What does "loreal paris 8.3 champagne golden blonde" hair dye turn out like on light brown

i am gonna dye bits of my hair this colour and i was just wondering what it would turn out like? n e one had experiences with this shade? golden blonde on brown hair?

What does "loreal paris 8.3 champagne golden blonde" hair dye turn out like on light brown/ dark blonde hair?

a lot of this depends on your natural color. heres some hints.

1 golden anything has a orange base to it

2 haircolors are rated on levels 1 being darkest and 10 being lightest.

3 you are crazy if you color your hair at home without some knowledge of color theory, or previous experience.

4 decide to go ahead? i just hope you are one of my clients, I charge a small fortune for color correction!!!

What does "loreal paris 8.3 champagne golden blonde" hair dye turn out like on light brown/ dark blonde hair?

yes

its bery lol

What does "loreal paris 8.3 champagne golden blonde" hair dye turn out like on light brown/ dark blonde hair?

A lot of times when you go from brown to blond, the first time you only strip away the black pigment and leave a lot of red pigment. The second time you do it, it strips away the red.

That's why peole with black hair end up with orange hair. Another treatment would strip away the red.

In other words, you may have to do it twice to get the true color you want. Of course, that damages your hair, so if the first treatment isn't bad, then just wait a couple of weeks to reapply.

What does "loreal paris 8.3 champagne golden blonde" hair dye turn out like on light brown/ dark blonde hair?

I know you don't want to hear this, but it depends on what your current hair color is. If your hair is currently blonde, red, or light brown then it will be the light blonde. If your hair is black, or dark brown you will probably end up with golden brown or lighter brown. The best thing to do is let a professional color your hair because if you lighten your hair at home and you make a mistake you can end up feeling very uncomfortable. Not to mention most hair dressers try to charge you more money to repair your color damaged hair.

Very temporary hair color?

Hey, I am a very very naturally blonde haired person. And, yes I am a bit bored of it, but my mom won't let me touch it for the life of me. But, I have a really funky style and I'd love to add some like red or blue high lights etc. kind thing. So is there any VERY VERY temporary hair coloring stuff? I've heard some stories that once people dyed their hair, it never went back to the original color, and I don't want that. I heard about Loreal Color Pulse and Loreal Color Rays...are those any good? I'm good with just spray on stuff....I just want temporary, you know? Anything would be helpful!

Thanks!

Very temporary hair color?

Color Pulse is perfect for what you're talking about, I'm exactly the same way and have dirty blonde hair. Whenever I feel like a change, I use Color Pulse and the color is really nice but it washes out fairly quickly, and if you put a lot of shampoo on it, it comes right off so you never have to worry about not liking it. Have fun with it =]

Very temporary hair color?

There are the temporary sprays and then there is the temporary dye too. Some only last like 14 showers or something, some last less or more than that too.

Very temporary hair color?

Hi

Ivory,

whatever you use.. there is a chance it will stain do to how light your hair is.. i don't know of any very temporary colors other than the spray.

Very temporary hair color?

aLOE

Very temporary hair color?

r u a boy!?

Very temporary hair color?

Color Rays is permanent, but colorpulse is not. I sort of understand how being naturally blonde, you don't want a permanent color, so I think Colorpulse in a lighter shade would be better for you and I think it washes out very quickly.

Very temporary hair color?

They have some at hottopic that workes really well. I used it on my hair and it fades a lttle after every wash. it took about 10 washes but it is all out now.

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

I'm not grey...

thanks...

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

loreal is much better!! also ask hairstylists, they no best!!

GOOD LUCK!! =]

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

Either. Don't fall for the washes out in 28 shampoos line.

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

loriel

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

Loreal

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

preference by L'Oreal is suposed to be real good. Lot of good reviews anyway.

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

i recomend garnier....loreal

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

You know. My gf used both and they both faded compared to a cheaper brand. I don't understand why. But, she's much happier with the cheaper brand.

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

L'oreal Preference or Excellence is the best. I've been using Preference for 15 years. It's excellent for coverage (whether covering grey or changing your own colour) and the gloves they give you are high quality. They're "real" gloves and not the glorified glove-shaped baggies the cheaper hair dyes give you. Good luck!

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

Why dye? your hair looks beautiful to me

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

Loreal

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

L'Oreal,why????

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

Forget the preference product.Ive used them All, the best one there is, I swear by this, is

Loreal Coloeur Experte.its easy, beautiful results,an array of colors (the basic allover color before you apply the highlights if you choose) and wont damage hair the first few times. TIP: dont leave the highlight on longer then you should. Good Luck. ps google the name, and a page with all o the color choice will come up.

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

L'Oreal Superior Preference is the best, it's just as good as salon color.

Loreal or clairol for dying hair?

Stay away from Clairol. I used to get damaged hair every time I used Clairol. Loreal is much better, but then stay away from Feria. Excellence and Preference are great though. I have been coloring my hair for more than 20 years and I think Garnier Nutrisse is the best. Your hair gets nurtured while it is getting colored.

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

okay so my hair is like a medium brownish and i dont want to dye it all just like LITTLE streaks here and there so i bought and loreal dye and the color is sandstone blonde

im not going for highlights i just want streaks so my hair looks

multicolored

im going for something like this

http://www.mybellacolor.com/BROWN_MULTI_...

please can someone help me do this and gv me DETAILED DIRECTIONS

i hv never dyed my hair b4

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

Unfortunately her hair is highlighted and this was done with bleach....she also has a lot of red in her hair...with out bleach to do highlights you will not get the blonds but you will get the reds, and you may even get some oranges, depending on how much red is naturally in your hair.

First I would do a strand test to make sure this is a color you will like. mix up a cap full of each the color and the developer and apply to a chunk of hair somewhere no one can see, but you. (up over your ear) Apply if from the root to the end. Wait about 30 min.

If you choose to do this get a comb, pin up all but the bottom of your hair....apply the color with the comb....not a lot of color on the comb for a more subtle result, and you don't want big blotches. Go to the next level of hair and do the same all of the way up the hair till you get to the top. If you are using just a little color as you apply the hair lying on the last parting of hair will not be so affected. Have fun

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

Go ask my friend Robyn. Her hair's green.

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

I hear the biggest new trend in highlighting is just freestyling it. I'd just grab pieces and put the dye on it. Simple as that. It's the best you're gonna get by trying to do it yourself and you'd be surprised how nice it can look. Works for me.

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

i've tried doing highlights at home before, it's very hard to make it look good, unless you know what you're doing.

i screwed mine all up.

i would advise you to go get it done professionally, it doesn't cost that much, and you're guaranteed a good job.

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

OK TO DO THAT U WILL NEED HELP OR A HAIR DRESSER BUT WHAT U DO IS THA EASIEST IS GET TIN FOIL AND A SEPERTAT UR AHIR IN TO LEVELS AND EVER LEAVEL GRAB A STRAND AND USE THE DIED THE FOLD TIN FOIL ON IT SO IT WONT GET ON UR OTHER PIECES OF HAIR

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

For that effect, you need to use highlighting bleach, not regular haircolor. You can get a kit that has a cap that you pull strands of hair through, or one that comes with a little brush to apply to certain strands of hair. If I were you, I'd go to Sally Beauty and ask one of the gals there to help you pick out a kit and explain how to use it. It's not difficult, but much easier to explain in person. Good luck and have fun!

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

I had like a strawberry blonde color on my hair.. Colored it this past weekend, to a #51 Bronzed brown , a Loreal Product. I hate it, its way to dark for my skin tone.. PLEASE HELP ME !! I want to lighten back up to a more light brown to dark blonde.. PROFFESSIONAL ADVICE PLEASEEEEEEEEE!!!

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

When going brown, the color often ends up darker than what's shown on the box. I find that if you wash your hair out several times with dish soap (ex: Dawn), the color will lighten slightly. Also, after the first week or two the color will naturally lighten a bit. If you can't wait that long, you can go to the salon and have the color stripped (though I don't recommend it b/c it's harsh) or have some blonde highlights put in to lighten the look overall.

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

Don't do it yourself anymore, go to a professional.

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

dont do it yourdelf unless it is one of those do it ur self easy step-by-step things... but yeah... go to a hair parlor....

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

If you want to lighten it, it would be very hard to get an even color at home. Go to a salon for the color and get at trim and maybe a deep conditioning treatment. Good luck!

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

Don't mess with it, go to a salon and get it professionally done.

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

you need to do to a salon. but it will need to be striped which is harsh on your hair. i would give it a couple more days for you hair to recover from you doing it then make an appointment and get it fixed. ask your styalist to use mostiure rich dye when they fix it so your hair wont break from being over processed.

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

well eathere go to tthe salon and have it readone.....well thats the best thing you could do to get it the way you want it, or get a at home hair stripping kit, it has peroxide in it to lighten your hair for redying, but not always a good idea, somtimes new color wont go over the stripped hair and your gonna get a orange tint.

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

Call Clairol...There's a lightener product that they have. I usually just comb some hydrogen peroxide through around the face and go in the sun for awhile but if it's REALLY dark, you may need something else. 1-800-clairol

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

ok, slow down and dont panic

First of all i dont know if your hair will accept a rinse without a base.

So to make sure it works, follow these steps carefully.

1)Go to a store and purchase basic white (a white powder), hydrogen peroxide (a liquid), a hair rinse in the color you want and a leave in hair treatment. Also buy shampoo and conditioner if you don't have any.

2)Get home and mix the hydrogen peroxide (liquid) with the basic white (power) however DO NOT mix it thin DO it thick.

3) Apply to the areas of your hair where you want coloured

You will notice it changing to brown, it then change a bit to red then blonde. DO NOT WORRY HERE

4) You will then take the rinse of the color of your choice and apply it over THE SAME AREA.

let it stay in for about 5 - 10 minutes then rinse out of hair

5) Shampoo your hair and rinse it twice

After which apply conditioner, lather and comb through. let it stay for a while so your hair will be silky soft.bout 8mins

6) Rinse and apply leave in hair treatment (as this will help in preventing it from tearing your hair) and dry

7)Wrap hair and it will be bouncy and light or style as desiered.

DON'T WORRY, this will WORK

AND HAVE FUN WITH YOUR NEWLY COLORED HAIR!!!

HELP Hair CRISIS!!!?

for professional advice go see a professional....they can decide what would be the best way to get the hair you so much desire....if continuing doing home remedies you may end up not liking your hair more and more with even more unneccessary damage...it will be hard to get the strawberry blonde you had but you could go lighter with some foils of highlights and light or dark blondes....this method will get you lighter but plz go to a professional....they have excellent color lines and may come up with something much better than my advice...good luck

Help hair dying!?

How do I convince my mom to let me temporarily dye my hair? I have almost black hair it's not black but it looks like it unless I'm in good lighting. I want to dye it a dark brown that's actually brown not almost black. Right know it's red tinted from some hydrogen peroxide, but I either need a natural way other than lemon juice or peroxide or I need a way to convince my mom to let me use loreal color pulse. Help what do I do!? (all the lemon juice and peroxide turn my hair a brassy-red color that is too orangy for me I want deep brown hair!! )

Help hair dying!?

I had the same problem last year. My mom wouldn't let me do it at first but i made "research" to convince her to let me.

First of all, Loreal is a trusted brand and it will wash out in 8-10 shampoos. (i actually thinks its more like 5 or 7)

Second, you're not dying your hair pink or bright red.

Third, the color pulse only gives you a tint of the color and it smells great

I'm sure your mom has wanted to or has dyed her hair before and will understand if you want to experiment with your look. It also helps if you have a friend try it with you. I'm sure your mom would not want to keep you from doing something you really want to. Put in a good effort, and it will show

...also the lemon juice and peroxide does a lot damage to your hair. you're better off with color pulse (it makes your hair really soft)

Help hair dying!?

give it cpr if its dying

Help hair dying!?

in order to go with a lighter color with such dark hair, you would have to strip it. and that is harsh...i have dark hair myself. i wanted to go lighter, thus the stripper was put on then they had to add pigment again(red), then the color, i was going to suggest one of those over the counter 6 week colors that stay in your hair for 6 weeks, but using a lighter color wont do the trick. sorry

Help hair dying!?

Ok, first off..you can't lift color with color. That means that you can't dye your dark hair a lighter color. You can't temporarily dye your hair a lighter shade, you HAVE to get it lightened first (bleached).

Second thing, the reason your hair is turning brassy is because it has red undertones, if you go to a stylist, she is going to have to know this because she is going to have to put a violet corrector in the toner to cancel out the brassiness.

Third thing, you can't go even a shade lighter with hair that dark without having it lightened first, you can't lift color with color, and your hair is already messed up because of the peroxide, so the thing to do now is to convince your mom to take you to a stylist. Although, the darker shades of Color Pulse will work on your hair, but you don't want it dark. :) And if you convince your mom to take you to a salon, tell the stylist everything you have done to you hair, it will help in the long run! :)

Help hair dying!?

You can't lift such a dark haircolor by using semi-permanent color. All you can do is use bleach to lift WAY up, or a permanent color to lift it up to 3 levels (to brown).

I think you need to either save up the money to get a pro to do it, or forget it.

Color Pulse mousse won't do much of anything on your hair, it really only works on light hair for coloring, or very very subtle highlights on dark hair.

Help hair dying!?

Even if you want to use a temporary color to achieve what you want, you will still have to lighten your own hair which can damage it. Even if it doesn't damage it, you will have to continue to color it, especially using a temporary, you will never know when 'this is the last wash I have great color' because it gradually goes away. In order to have this color you will HAVE to lighten your hair and since that isn't temporary, you may want to think of something else you may like. If mom agrees to letting you strip your hair, you may as well discuss a permenant dye and keeping it current.

Help hair dying!?

if your mother permits try goignn to sally's and purchase a high lift tint...this has some sripping action but is less damaging to the hair as bleach....but why not have it foiled and do some highlights...less damage and less roots will be noticed

Hair dye!!!!!1?

today i went and purchased loreal excellence h45..and it didnt work one bit.this is my natural hair colour and skin tone http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g152/c... what colour highlights should i get red?copper red?brown?can you guys reccomend a good at home kit please and thanks.

Hair dye!!!!!1?

I don't recommend any at home kits. They always turn out miserable. Most people have to go and get them fixed once they've tried the home kits. But, if you find one, and are brave enough to do it, good luck...even though I don't suggest it.

Hair dye!!!!!1?

sable brown looks good on ur skintone

Hair dye!!!!!1?

I would coat it with a blue or purple put the two colors beside your face and decide.I would say do the whole head also

Hair dye!!!!!1?

If I were you I would dye my whole hair, not just get highlights. But, if youdecide to get highlights,I would suggest going brown, a reddish brown.

Ink/ Hair Color questions...?

Walgreens/ Ink question..?

Has anybody used Walgreens to refill thier ink cartridge and was it worth it..? My husband and I are tight on money but need more ink.

Favorite Hair Dye?

What is your favorite over the counter hair color brand?

Which has worked best for you?

I've always liked Loreal but wondered if there was a brand that works as well for a better price.

Ink/ Hair Color questions...?

-Idk about the refill.

- I use Herbal Essences and L'oreal Feria. HE is better but Feria's good too. The good thing about HE is that it's like a gel so it doesn't drip as easily, and it seems to fade less.

Feria has nice colors but it's a little watery so it can get messy.

Hope that helped!!

Hair color shade # in loreal for rich brown or coffee shade?

My daughter says to go with Clairol because Clairol is both a professional and home use product, so it lasts longer (she got this info from a registered beautician).

For non-permanent she used Natural Instincts Dark Warm Brown. It looked really good!

Wanting to dye my hair black. loreal color pulse or something else??/?

I have tried box colors but to do it right go to a professional salon...

Wanting to dye my hair black. loreal color pulse or something else??/?

Go to a salon. The world is full of kitchen beauticians and do-it-yourselfers who more often than not end up with a disaster and either pay to have the color corrected, cut it off, keep their hair covered. And a little saying we professionals use a lot: "You dye eggs. You color hair." I say this not to be disrespectful or to make fun of anyone. Since I am a hairdresser, you may think I say these things in order to promote paying to have you hair colored but I say these things to try to prevent anyone from ending up with an absolute mess and end up paying a lot of money to try to undo what they done at home. I spent 7 hours one evening last week correcting a botched home color and the lady left $315.00 with me when she left and was happy to do it since she came in with her hair completely covered and wearing sunglasses hoping no one would recognize her until her hair was back to anything rather than the blaze orange she came in with. Also, if you aren't familar with any hair stylists, check around. Try to make sure that whoever is doing the color knows what they are doing. Look for certificates where they have attended classes in hair coloring because, in my opinion, and speaking for myself, I learned just enough about coloring hair in beauty school to be dangerous. Thank goodness I went to work for a salon where they encouraged and paid for continuing education. Good luck.

Wanting to dye my hair black. loreal color pulse or something else??/?

The only one that I like is Feria by Loreal. Black Leather, hot!

How long does loreal color pulse stay in your hair for?

I have dirty blonde hair with light blonde highlights(all natural). I have never dyed my hair before and was thinking of using hot mahogany. Any advice plz

How long does loreal color pulse stay in your hair for?

I dyed my light brown hair red using Color Pulse and it started to fade after about two shampoos. It washed out completley after nine shampoos. It all depends on how often you was your hair. It might take a bit longer for your color to fade, though, since you're going brown instead of red.

Is loreal elvive nutri gloss for geasy hair any good please help?

i really whant to know if anyone as tried this s + c and if it worked please my hair is only a bit geasy.

oh and is the spray product any good in it xxx

Is loreal elvive nutri gloss for geasy hair any good please help?

no loreal and all its products are terrible, plus they test on animals which makes them even worse!!

go for DOVE. their products are natural and work great. also garnier fructis and tresseme work wonders as well. but for greasy hair you can always just put baby powder at your roots to suck out the oil. good luck!

Is loreal elvive nutri gloss for geasy hair any good please help?

I have quite greasy hair too and found that dove shampoo and conditioner for greasy hair worked for me xx

I used the semi perminant hair color that is called loreal color pulse in electric black color well

dark brown hair and blonde highlights but when i used it on my naturual color and it went black but my blonde highlights turned purple AND IM SO MAD BECAUSE I USED SHAMPOO AFTER SHAMPOO THIS MORNIN AND THE PURPLE IS STILL NOT COMING OUT WHAT SHOULD I DO????

I used the semi perminant hair color that is called loreal color pulse in electric black color well i have....

Well there isn't much you can do but wait it out a couple of days and a couple of shampoos later. If you want to try to get it out a little faster then use dish soap. It will make your hair feel like straw but it does help color strip off faster. If your going to put color on it again then I would wait at least a week. Also next time don't get a color with violet, ash,or blue tones in it cause it doesn't come out very pretty on highlighted hair. Hope this helps:)

I used the semi perminant hair color that is called loreal color pulse in electric black color well i have....

Ask a professional colorist. They are usually very good at fixing bad home dye jobs.

Feel better!

I used the semi perminant hair color that is called loreal color pulse in electric black color well i have....

it will come out,

my blonde came out

I used the semi perminant hair color that is called loreal color pulse in electric black color well i have....

I did the exact same, except I had no highlights. It's got a purple tint to it. All my hair was purple, actually. And it'll wash out. It's very very temporary. It was in my hair for maybe a week. So just live with it for a bit, and it should come out.

I used the semi perminant hair color that is called loreal color pulse in electric black color well i have....

The base color of black is almost like a dark dark blue purple. Because your highlights where lighter and probably more damaged from the highlighting they grabbed more color. You have two shades in your hair so you can't expect them to take the color and look the same.

You can continue to wash your hair - use a volumising shampoo as it opens the hair shaft and might encourage fading but I really don't think you will get out all of the purple. I think you should call the salon or you can take a chance and try to color it again as the highlighted shaft is a bit darker now it may (or may not) take the second color application better.

Tough to say without seeing it.

I am going to dye my hair Ultra Violet Brown by Loreal tomorrow....?

Have used this dye many times over the years, but my question is this....in February i had blonde highlights put in, i'm a brunette, the blonde is still there though not as noticeable now, this is the only time i've ever had blonde in my hair. Are the blonde bits going to be damaged or go a really strange colour when i dye my hair with the purple dye? My mum (ex hairdresser from many years ago) thinks they will just take the purple a bit more than the rest. Any advice would be great thanks.

I am going to dye my hair Ultra Violet Brown by Loreal tomorrow....?

it will turn out beautiful! the strands that are lighter will have a warm plum colour that will blend perfectly..and the plus side is if your hair looks damaged..this will seal it and make it glossy and in the sunlight it will be sparkly and shimmer..go for it!

I am going to dye my hair Ultra Violet Brown by Loreal tomorrow....?

you mums right

I am going to dye my hair Ultra Violet Brown by Loreal tomorrow....?

yeah, they will take in the purple more... it will appear brighter.

why purple though? do you WANT to look like a freak?

I am going to dye my hair Ultra Violet Brown by Loreal tomorrow....?

That sounds a really nice colour, i think your mum is probably right, I'm naturally a brunette and have had blonde streaks in my hair in the past, i dyed it red while it still had some of the streaks in it and they just were a bit more vivid coloured than the rest, not unnaturally so though. You must certain won't look like a freak like that other girl said, it'll look fabulous!

Loreal haircolor?

I colored my hair and have washed it twice ince i colored it....Everytime i wash it color runs out, is this normal?

Loreal haircolor?

It depends on if it was a very dark color. I would rinse for a long time with cold water.

Has anybody ever used superior preference by loreal?

I was looking at hair dye today, and I saw a shade of Ultra Light Ash Brown which is designed for use on DARK hair colors. Does that claim that the hair color will show on a darker hair color prove to be true, or am I best stripping the dark dye from my hair before trying to recolor?

Has anybody ever used superior preference by loreal?

Hon, I use it all the time and have had great results with it. You see, I had chemo l four years ago and my hair left the planet earth and when it grew back I had two different colors of hair like Cruella De Ville in the 101 Dalmatians movie. One side was white and the other side was light brown, so I tried to color it all light brown and it came back with white and brown sides again, so I tried superior preference by Loreal in a light blonde shade and it covered both sides so I now am a platinum blonde, oh well. LOL

Is loreal color pulse harmful to bleached hair?

Hi, my hair is natually black but a few months ago (during september last year) i bleached my hair to a light brown orangy colour and i have a few ice blonde streaks in my hair. Right now i am intending to color pusle my hair a red color. would my heavily bleached parts fall off?

Is loreal color pulse harmful to bleached hair?

It's been long enough that the coloring shouldn't hurt your hair. Is your bleached hair really frizzy or dry? If it is use coloring that has moisturizers.

Is loreal color pulse harmful to bleached hair?

No

Is loreal color pulse harmful to bleached hair?

It might make it brittle.

Brittle hair breaks.

Do a test strand.

Is loreal color pulse harmful to bleached hair?

I think that l'oreal has a help line and you can ask those types of questions. The number can be found on one of their dye packages.

Thanks

Wondering if Loreal Paris' Colour Experte is a good decision????

I Have Dark Brown Hair And Im Thinking About Using Colour Experte In Spiced Chestnut To Highlight My Hair And I Wondering If My Results Will Turn Out Ok Because I'v Done a Lot Of "Research" On What Product To Use I Just Want Feedback.

Wondering if Loreal Paris' Colour Experte is a good decision????

NOT THAT ONE!!!!

Use the L'Oreal Creme, gentle on the hair!!!

Wondering if Loreal Paris' Colour Experte is a good decision????

i used it and it worked really well

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

should i die it again with the same color or something else

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

Well it in all honesty you should have tested a spot first but seeing you didn't, Do you use Hair color treatments on a regular basis? Or did you buy CHEAP hair color ? I know that you are suppose to wait 6 months before you re-color your hair.

What I would do is either one or 2 things, not that this would be healthy for your hair, either Bleach it even lighter or Go Darker to try and hide the flaws.

By bleaching your hair and I do not mean using Bleach, I mean go very very light with it or go Darker. This way it will cover up the mistakes.

If all else fails go to a professional hair dresser and have them fix the problem if it can be fixed.

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

I would either go brown or have it done blonde professionally. You're not going to get it right with an at home product.

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

Sounds like you went too light. Go darker and maybe an ash shade. Don't leave it on too long (maybe only 15 min. or so) and you could do it right away.

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

seriously now, comb tomato ketchup through it. something in the tomatoes neutralises hair chemicals.then wash it out

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

Go to a professional. I turned my hair green one time so I strongly feel that the professional is the best choice.

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

I..Don't think I'd try to do anything more myself at home with it. Cause' there's just no way to know what could happen to it. Sorry that happened to you.

I would think, try conditioning it really well? Because well conditioned hair always has a Softer, nicer look.

Maybe a professional could add some low lights.

But is there really a great difference between blond and yellow, when ya think about it?

You're natural color will come through as it gradually fades out, and even if you have a natural brown color? That might fade out to a nice golden brown.

Sometimes that's even nicer than blond, it's gentle on the complexion.

I don't know how long I tried to get stylist's to do mine a golden brown, and they refused!

Whoops! We acidentally dyed it blond again! How could that have been any accident, it took double processing, which they charged me for.

I stayed away from them, but I've finally got my favorite color now! Golden brown.

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

Oh boy..... As a hairstylist I have to say this should have been done in a salon. NEVER strip or BLEACH your hair at home. What you probably need (without looking at your hair) is a toner put on it. I would suggest going and having this professionally done. If you strip and or bleach your hair then color and re color it your going to end up with major breakage. DO YOU WANT TO WALK AROUND LOOKING LIKE SOME ONE CUT PIECES OF YOUR HAIR OUT??????

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

hi if your hair is naturally dark at first it does goe yellow colour but if you dye it again it will go blonde speaking from past experience

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

Get tomatoe sauce and comb it though leave in for 10 minutes and then wash out and ur hair will be lovely and blonde i did same thing and a hairdresser told me to do that and my hair was lovely afterwards GOOD LUCK

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

honey i am a hair colourist and can tell you that to get rid of the yellow tone in your hair you need to add ash tone to it go and buy an ash toner and put that in while your hair is wet leave it on for 20 mins then wash your hair with a silver shampoo the ash in both of these will neutrilise any yellow in your hair if that doeasnt work you will need to go to your hairdressers to get a colour correction done but please dont put any other harsh chemicals on it to try and fix it as it may snap off good luck honey hope this helps

I use loreal studio remix paste to style my hair but is it safe to use it every day?

i go to the shower and wet my hair, dry it slightly so my hair is slightly damp, then style it and let it dry on its own, but i have a big feeling im going to go bald any second...please help?

I use loreal studio remix paste to style my hair but is it safe to use it every day?

You are fine, it won't hurt your head

Which is the best Shcwarzkopf, Loreal or Wella hair care brand?

definately loreal its the best

Which is the best Shcwarzkopf, Loreal or Wella hair care brand?

Shcwarzkopf be my guess. It's used by most professional salons whereas Loreal and Wella have to push their products in quite vigorously.

Which is the best Shcwarzkopf, Loreal or Wella hair care brand?

wella

Which is the best Shcwarzkopf, Loreal or Wella hair care brand?

i like loreal

Which is the best Shcwarzkopf, Loreal or Wella hair care brand?

I havent tried Schwarzkoph, Loreal is ok, my pick is Wella, if using bleach, it is oil based so it isnt drying to the hair if used properly.

Which is the best Shcwarzkopf, Loreal or Wella hair care brand?

Wella!

Which is the best Shcwarzkopf, Loreal or Wella hair care brand?

schwarzkopf is ok.. but loreal and wella are beautiful, and their prices reflect that. but you can be guaranteed good results.

Does anyone use Loreal Hot straight hair cream?

What is the best straightening heat protecting cream/balm please??

Does anyone use Loreal Hot straight hair cream?

Loreal Hot is great and I tend to use it alot. Another brilliant one is John Freida's Frizz Ease Straightening cream/balm(?).

It gives a fantastic shine too.

The majority of the time it even keeps working after the hair has been straightened and you go into somewhere humid damp etc.

Does anyone use Loreal Hot straight hair cream?

i don know as i dont apply it

Does anyone use Loreal Hot straight hair cream?

i think thats the best

Does anyone use Loreal Hot straight hair cream?

L'Oreal test on animals!!!!

Lee Stafford products are great and smell lovely too, and come in bright pink packaging

Does anyone use Loreal Hot straight hair cream?

I don't use grocery store crap on my hair. Try Sally's Ion heat protection spray. I use it EVERY time I straighten my hair. Don't forget glossing polish. Also at Sally's I buy proclaim glossing polish. A good cream is matrix sleek. It comes in an orange tube.

Does anyone use Loreal Hot straight hair cream?

no but does it work i use pantene and it works great i also love the frutis products they work great!

Does anyone use Loreal Hot straight hair cream?

I used to and it didn't really work for me. But my hair's curly and I don't straighten it anymore.

Does anyone use Loreal Hot straight hair cream?

Thermal Protection by GHD is excellent, as it protects up to the heat of GHDS. Lee Stafford products are only sponsored by him, and contain crap!

Does the Loreal' Hair Color Mousse really wash out in 8 to 10 shampoos??

Really what I am asking is if the Color Mousse stays in longer or permanently dyes your hair???Cuz i want to dye my hair but not permanently and i wanna see if the color's goona look good on me first!

Does the Loreal' Hair Color Mousse really wash out in 8 to 10 shampoos??

It depends on how dark your hair is. If it's light blonde, particularly if you're going with a reddish color which most of them tend to be, it never really washes out. It just fades a whole lot. If your hair is darker and you just want it to have a reddish tint, you won't be able to see it anymore after a while. I'm not that much of a fan of that product - if your hair has previously been colored or treated (with a straight perm, for example) the color takes unevenly.

Does the Loreal' Hair Color Mousse really wash out in 8 to 10 shampoos??

I have dark hair, and it didn't even stay for 8 to 10 shampoos for me...

Does the Loreal' Hair Color Mousse really wash out in 8 to 10 shampoos??

Yes my friend used it and it made her hair soft and it does wash out in 8 to 10 shampoos.

Does the Loreal' Hair Color Mousse really wash out in 8 to 10 shampoos??

I've tried that stuff before and the red colors wash out VERY unevenly, it looks ok after you put it on, but then when it starts washing out, it looks terrible. I don't even think it lasts 8-10 shampoos.

Does the Loreal' Hair Color Mousse really wash out in 8 to 10 shampoos??

Yes. I used a bright pink one on my bleached blonde hair and it washed out for sure.

I had an adverse reaction to lightening my hair with a Loreal product and now have 2 scabs on my sca

If I wash my hair and leave conditioner in for an extended period of time, will it help reduce the scabs?

I had an adverse reaction to lightening my hair with a Loreal product and now have 2 scabs on my scalp?

Delilah.

HI. Yeah, that stuff is harsh. The problem is in their chemical make up. They use lanolin and phosphates high in alcohol. Now you will just have to leave the hair alone and treat the scalp. Try using "Tea Tree" Shampoo and Cond. by Paul Mitchell. Its medicated, it will help to heal up your scalp. When thats done, and looks and feels better to you, then treat the hair. Get a good moisturizering shampoo by "Redken" or "Paul Mitchell" and when the hair feels and looks great to you by just touch..... then if your going to use an "Over the counter" product use Clairol.....and check the ingredients for things like "Amino-Acids, Phosphats, Alcohol, etc. If those words appear in any format, immediately put it back on the shelf. And march your now healthy hair to your local salon, and ask your questions, look at pictures in their books, get their professional opinions. Remember one thing tho,,,, they are the professional's, they will not advise you wrong. They're professional products are not going to damage your hair, but whatever you go home and use on it after they get done ?? That will harm your hair... Stay with professional products...and I urge you to spend the $$ !! Our hair is after all, our pride and joy.

AND, Good Luck to you.

I had an adverse reaction to lightening my hair with a Loreal product and now have 2 scabs on my scalp?

I just answered this q so go to your other posted q and read my answer!!!! good luck
