Loreal Hot is great and I tend to use it alot. Another brilliant one is John Freida's Frizz Ease Straightening cream/balm(?).

It gives a fantastic shine too.

The majority of the time it even keeps working after the hair has been straightened and you go into somewhere humid damp etc.

I don't use grocery store crap on my hair. Try Sally's Ion heat protection spray. I use it EVERY time I straighten my hair. Don't forget glossing polish. Also at Sally's I buy proclaim glossing polish. A good cream is matrix sleek. It comes in an orange tube.

Thermal Protection by GHD is excellent, as it protects up to the heat of GHDS. Lee Stafford products are only sponsored by him, and contain crap!
