Will Loreal X-Tenso decrease frizzy hair, yet retain volume?

My hair used to be straight, but excessive styling when I was very young destroyed it and now it's frizzy in some parts. I got it cut short so it wouldn't be obvious, but when it was long it looked like a pyramid from all the frizz. I've never had my hair straightened before.

Will X-tenso work for my hair? I still want the volume and slight wave of my hair without the pin-straight look that comes from rebonding and frizz.

Can it be applied in some parts of the hair only?

How much is it and how long does the process take?
