My beginning hair color was very dark brown. I need even hair color. Should I rinse over it or redye it?

So the rest of your hair is still very dark brown? Yeah, the same thing happened to me.

Here's what you should do:

Buy a decolorant. Loreal has a Perfect Blonde decolorant that is great. Put that through.

Then put through a basic red colour. This is to help the brown grab. If you just put a brown straight over decolored or blonde hair, it will turn green.

Finally, put through the colour you want your hair to be.

Don't wash it for as long as you can, after you've put the colour through. At least 48 hours, so that your hair can take the colour.

If you don't think you can do all of this yourself, you can go to a hairdressers, although they will charge high prices. And they'll do just what I told you to do.

PS: use a moisturising shampoo and conditioner, and put a nourishing treatment/mask through your hair once a week. Colouring will damage it.

get it professionaly done because the dye isnt strong enough to lighten the color you had before. your natural hair color/roots are easier to dye. get it professionally done or go to a cosmotology school... they do it for pretty cheap good luck!

you should try to re-dye your hair, but be aware of the fact that every time you dye your hair it'll get even more damaged than before! So be sure to take extra care of it!

I would buy another box only slightly lighter than the first....and then apply it with a toothbrush(using very small amounts). this will even it all out!!! My roots did the same thing before... My friend tolfd me to do this and my hair turned out better than origially planned...

I wouldnt jusy dye over it again or it will really damamge ur hair(unless its VERY healthy to start with)

Call the number on the box, they can help you better than we can.

Option 1: Head to the nearest salon and they can fix it for about $50.

Option 2: Buy lots more dye in different shades and redo it yourself.

Your natural hair color is probably lighter than what you *have* been dying your hair. When your roots have grown in and you attempt to return to your natural color or go lighter than your normal dye your roots will be a different color.

Go back to a darker color and/or go to the salon.
