Loreal Natural Match hair dye...?

Right now my hair has kind of a brassy, dull tone because my friend messed up when she was dying my hair, and I want back my natural medium/dark brown hair with red undertones

Would "L'Oreal Natural Match No-Ammonia Color-Calibrated Cream, Medium Reddish Chestnut - 5R Red" work, and how close will it be to my natural color?

(only reccomend or not if you've used it before!)

You will end up with allot of red. You said you had red undertones naturally.. Think about going with a regular medium brown, it will automatically detect red tones. A chestnut will be darn near dark carrot red.

dont do anything that has reddish in its title!!!!! i did that and my hair was like purpleish red and was reeaallly ugly!!!! so yeah!! i almost cried.
