hi okay so i used this loreal excellence HiColor for my black hair to turn cool brown. But the top of my head seems to be a lighter brown than the bottom part of my hair. It's lighter on the top and darker on the bottom. Do you have any ideas as to why my hair looks like this??? the product works but could it be that i applied the stuff on wrong or something? i dont get it...please help!!!!

Agree with the previous answer, you left it on longer. However, after 2 years of being a blond (naturally dark brown) the bottom of my hair is still darker than my top. I have even used a color remover on the bottom of my hair and redyed. Still darker. I believe it's because when I do roots, I only die the top of my head, over and over. Now I am patient and will eventually cut it out.

was your hair dyed black before?? or dyed any color. cause ur natural hair will def. dye lighter than dyed hair. :-)

im sure you started at the top of your head and then washed the bottom out first which means the top of your head got more than the bottom, also im sure it was piled on the TOP of ur head to give it even more
