color zap takes out a lot of the color in your hair but it wont take all of it out. youll be left with this weird nasty shade of brown . Color zap does about as much damage as the dye you already used to color your hair, its much gentler then bleaching and coloring it again. I would reccomend recoloring afterwards, but dont pickout the new color untill you see how much color zap pulls out of your hair. As for being sold in Canada, i havent seen it, be the stylists up here use a stronger version called "rusk elimin8". AMAZING stuff. always a necessity in our salon for color corrections. good luck!

aahaha i dyed my hair black like a week ago. it was supposed to be dark brown. the hair companies are such liars.

there are a couple of different products you can use to strip color out of your hair, and some of them are specifically for if you plan to re-color your hair right after. i'm pretty sure loreal color zap is one of these brands. there are also ones that are technically supposed to get all of the dye out, without damaging your natural color. since you're blonde though, i'm not sure how well these products would work.

i would go to a beauty supply store and ask what they have, because they usually carry salon brands that regular drug stores don't. sorry i don't have any actual product names for you. good luck!
