LOREAL COLOR RAYS????? HELP please?

is this a good product????????? i am thinking about highlighting my hair one of the colors and just need some feedback on this...any one used it b4 or anything? suggestions?

LOREAL COLOR RAYS????? HELP please?

personally ive used it before, they fade faster than some brands, but the color is vibrant and great.

go for it

What other products can I use to take weight off my hair?

I'm a fella with hair that goes completely over my ears and long enough to reach the bottom of my neck, and its long enough to straighten. I do straighten my hair with ceremic straightners.

The problem is my hair is so THICK it just looks overgrown and then just goes curly again in a few hours. I did get the ends of my hair blunted about a month ago for growth but when I asked to have my hair thinned out somehow they wouldnt do it and said it would grow out instead of grow down and the best thing to do is to use products to keep it down.

I have a lot of hair on my head and they described it as "a lot of hair per 'square inch' of my head".

Are there any chemicals to help me tame it? I use Loreal hot straight and Tresemme heat protection spray and it helps a bit, and I put a bit of matt clay on parts that dont want to behave but this takes well over an hour and I despise my hair looking like a fuzzy afro if I dont do it.

Any ideas what I can do?? I'm in the UK btw.

What other products can I use to take weight off my hair?

Aveda has a really nice product called "get curly", it is a light cream that is not greasy at all. You want to use something like that or a spray product. Do not use moose, pomade or gel because that will weigh your hair down.

It may also help to have your hair cut in layers that way there is more movement in your hair and it will appear to be lighter. Your curls will spring up better and it will be easier to straighten your hair.

Also, it may help to get a product to spray in your hair once you straighten it so that it will remain straight and will not get curly once you go outside in the humidity. John Frieda makes a nice product called "simply straight".

Good luck!

What other products can I use to take weight off my hair?

Try scissors, that'll do it !

What other products can I use to take weight off my hair?

you lucky bastard you! Lets exchange SCALPS! Be appreciative.

What other products can I use to take weight off my hair?

wear a hat, cut it short, or get it 'razored'. that doesnt mean get it all shaved off, youc an get the hairdesser to use a special razor which selects about a 1/3 of the hair and cuts it off, thinning out your hair. if your current hairdresser wont do it, go to a different one - the customer is always right.

What other products can I use to take weight off my hair?

there's no product that I know of that would do that, I think you have to change hairdressers as most good hairdressers recommend layering or other techniques for this.

I know many people do this, esp girls becos when hair gets long, it naturally weighs down %26amp; hairdressers know how to deal with this.

Loreal PULSE?

If you used it, give me ALL the info on it.

like, how long intill the color faded from your hair...

how much it cost...

does it work well..

ECT.

Loreal PULSE?

it works well.

it smells good!

the color is good, but the bottle is rrreeeeeeeaaaaalllllyy tiny and i have too much hair for just one so when i did it it didnt cover all my hair.

it was easy to do.

the time in which it takes the color to fade depends on how often you wash it.

costs like $10 at the most.

makes your hair soft and once again smell good.

i think thats about it. and it doesnt stain or damge your hair.

Loreal PULSE?

i used it and it works well depending on what color hair you have i used it and it gave me beautiful red highlights in my dark brown hair. it will usually stay about 2-3 weeks.i think it costs about 5-8 dollars not more than that. if you have really long and thick hair you should buy 2 packages but when i used it there was alot in that package.they come in alot of really cool funky colors like copper, hot red, blonde and more.

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

Last night a friend gave me some Loreal hair dye. It was the kind that you use when you dye your hair black then put it on the ends and streaks...REALLY RED. Well I have brown hair and did it anyways. My hair looks like I just escaped a fight and lost. It is as red as blood. NOW, I need to get it back to brown but someone told me I can't just dye it brown because it will turn orange...NO! Any advice would be great and I know I'm an idiot thanks for the note ;)

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

Ok I have experience in this. I dyed my WHOLE head super firehydrant red once and I couldnt look at it, it was so painfully red.

Use a good cleansing shampoo and wash the dyed hair twice for 3minutes each time (DO NOT CONDITION). Wait a couple days and the color should be lighter. Buy Loreal Colour Expert in a color CLOSEST to yours (I would reccomend going a shade lighter, because it will blend better as your roots come in and the highlights will really break up the color and correct any mistakes), also buy a "COOL" or "NEUTRAL" shade (the boxes will tell you if its a cool shade) to cancel out any red or orange tones. The end result I PROMISE you'll be happy with. Make sure you have a friend or your mother doing it for you, and I would place the color starting from tip to root (instead of the normal visversa). Follow the directions very carefully! I would say you should leave the color on your hair 10minutes longer then they reccomend. Place the highlights in natural areas (not streaky)- do random thin strands sweeping around your face line and very few strands in the back.

Good luck!

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

Consult a nearby GOOD beautician..

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

well red is the hardest color to get out of your hair. i have done this to my hair before and well i like it but then i am wierd. so my advice would be go to a professional. you really do not want to try and mess with it yourself anymore.

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

yes-go to a good beauty salon...

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

I would try to go to a professional for this one. My mother in law and sister in law own their own beauty shop and I wouldnt' trust anyone other than a professional to dye my hair, which I do every 6-8 weeks.

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

Wait a few days and try to color the red parts a light brown it should lighten the fire engine red a little.

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

Ohh, this happens to my mom all the time.

Dye it Dark Brown, that way your hair would be

Chestnut Brown.

Ohh and one more thing, Bloody Red is damn sexy.

Try keeping it?!

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

go to a hair salon. i wouldnt use those cheap hair dyes in the box! I tried to dye my hair and my roots came out orange! I had to go to the beauty salon. plus those cheap hair dyes they make your hair like straw..

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

you should consult a beatican that you trust and no cuz then you know that they wont screw up

but i wouldnt try dying my hair again

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

Use a very dark brown. When you do one over the other they make a nice dark auburn shade. Or if you'd rather have it back to exactly the way it was wait a week or two and bleach your hair and then re-dye it. But make sure you wait a few weeks because to many chemicals will make your hair turn brittle and dull, and in some people there hair falls out form too many chemicals.

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

ok,first go to a beauty supply store and by a color fix kit.temp color) this would tone down the red. but you should wait about a week before you do your hair again. then you should most likely have to stip out hte old color and tone over it.

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

You'll need to go to a beauty salon. My daughter did the same thing and it cost me 280.00 they spent over two hours on her hair they had to strip it and dye it black to cover it. She a natural brown and dyed it blonde but it turned yellow and white.

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

Is there an 800 number on the box? I would call them and ask what color you should use to return to your desired color. These people can be very helpful. My daughter goes out of her way to get that blood red Gothe look. You may have to condition more since your dyeing on top of a fresh dye job. I don't think you could get orange from brown and red. My daughter was red and wanted to have a more normal color brown for graduation pictures and we didn't have any trouble with orange. Good luck and your not an idiot.

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

omg that happend to me i got my hair dyed red and it came out bloond and orunge because the girl didnt use a filler the filler helps keep the color in now every time i dye my hair it comes out like 2 weeks later then i asked a hairstyleist what i should do she said my hair was damaged it mite be the same for you but i dont know

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

try washing n drying it as much as you can, i just went through a simular problem, the store products are ok to use, you just have to know to use ash or whatever, after washing a lot maybe then you should go to a hair salon, all is NOT hopeless, you can work with this. good luck forgot, you will need to use a good conditioner as well. also, i put baby oil in my hair for 15 minutes before washing, good luck again, hope this helps you some

Hair advice please...I screwed up?

Girl, you need to get to a professional hairdresser. You want to make sure they use the right chemicals on your hair so that the color is actually absorbed. You don't want your hair to get more damaged if you do it wrong again. Good luck!

What should I do to correct my Hair at home?

I colored my hair a medium brown( to cover outgrown highlights) and applied copper highlights using Herbal essences for dark brown hair. However, I dislike the all over copper look I now have, especially on the crown of my head. I am wondering if I should start over from the base color and use Loreal's Highlight Styliste(I have used this before with good results for Dark Hair) or leave the base out and add definition with the highlights. I am usedto coloring my own hair with the help of my sister. However 4 mths ago I decided to let a professional go all out and she lightened the base color on the crown of my head only then applied highlights. That is why, even though I coloredthe base before, it was not as dark as it should have been at the crown, so when the copper lights were added, the top of my head looked allcopper. Please suggest what I should do to add definition. I KNOW professionals are the best but in my country they seem to be NON existent. Thanks!

What should I do to correct my Hair at home?

For one please be careful to not damage your hair with all of the dying. I would say wait at least a month before going back in and make sure you hair is healthy enough to handle another dye job. I would say honestly wait and let it grow out because I fear your hair breaking off with damage. Do be careful an aware of this.

What should I do to correct my Hair at home?

Any type of dying can prove be harsh to the hair and it also depends on what grade of hair that you have. So I would say condition your hair and wash it to build strength and healthiness in your hair. Report It

What should I do to correct my Hair at home?

Every time you put any type of chemicals such as dyes or straighteners they tend to strip the hair a little bit and makes the hair weaker than before. Report It

My wife wants to know, what is the Hair color that Eva Longoria has in the loreal paris commercial..

5.3 Chocolate Macaroon

http://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/de...

My wife wants to know, what is the Hair color that Eva Longoria has in the loreal paris commercial...?

Check the website. On the website it states that sheis wearing Coleur Experte and it looks identical to the color 53 box that they show in the ad.

She also might watch the commercial and look for small print at the bottom of the screen. Often the ads will state which product and number the model is wearing in small print at the bottom of th screen.

What causes frizz? How can I de-frizz my hair naturally?

I am have thick and dry hair thats frizzy. How can I make my curls llook and feel soft without frizz and dryness? Please suggest a good conditioner or any natural method. I have never straightened my hair, not even used an iron. I just use hair brush. Apply oil overnight before shampoo, and use VIVE pro from loreal. I have also tried thermasilk but it doesnt work.

What causes frizz? How can I de-frizz my hair naturally?

I have a natural wave in my hair and used to deal with frizz as well, but the problem can be fixed by simply switching your hair care products. The worst thing that you can do (yes, even worse than blow drying and straitening) is use cheat products on your hair. Pantenne, Loreal, Thermasilk....they are all horrible for your hair. They strip your hair of natural oils and causes it to frizz and break at the ends. I get my hair cut every two months and use Matrix Sleek Look shampoo and conditioner (in the orange bottles) and swear by it. My hair no longer frizzes and it looks healthy...I get compliments all the time. I absolutely swear by the Sleek Look products. I have also started using shine drops by Modern Organic Products as an finisher and love it. It may seem like a lot of money to spend on your hair, but it's totally worth it!!! Check out Great Clips or Cost Cutters for sales on Matrix products (usually 2 for $25 in the liter bottles) Good Luck!

What causes frizz? How can I de-frizz my hair naturally?

I find that by buying good hair prouducts for your hair will make a lot of different I pay good for my hair prouducts using a leave in condition is very good for hair and I also find that if you wet set your hair to dry without drying it fully this will cause your hair to frizz very bad also. Report It

What causes frizz? How can I de-frizz my hair naturally?

Hair needs moisture and oil to stay "moist" and healthy. If you are still having dry frizzy hair, you may want to look for some heavy conditioner from someplace like Garnier Fructis. Lay off of the VIVE for a while and see how things go from there. Hope this helps you out!!

What causes frizz? How can I de-frizz my hair naturally?

I use herbal esseneces "none of your frizziness" shampoo and conditioner. it defintely calms your hair down.

What causes frizz? How can I de-frizz my hair naturally?

actually Ive had the same problem, Ive used Hemp seed oil before washing and conditioning my hair with Hemp conditioner and shampoo, this can be purchased at any Sallys Beauty Supply. Frizz is usually from heat, and dryness. This shampoo will moisturize and condition your hair, so you get the curls you want. Also dont use stuff from walmart, kmart, make sure you use dont use cheap stuff.

Hair won't stay dark brown?

My hair is naturally medium brown and over the years I've been dying it from blonde to brown. Well like half a year ago I put bleach in my hair to get it to be blonde but it wasnt a really pretty color so a month later i gradually got it back to light brown. But for the past 3 months I've been dying my hair dark brown because it looks the best. The only problem is: it won't stay dark brown! It always fades away to light brown and it's reallly annoying. Like I dyed it dark brown 4 days ago and I was sooo happy with the color but this morning after washing I realized that it's fading away to a light/medium brown and I think it's because there's bleach in my hair. It makes me really mad. How can I get it to stay dark brown? I AM using permanent Loreal hair dye...

Hair won't stay dark brown?

You may need to add a filler to your colour formula. Example: add 1/4 to 1/2 ounces of water to your colour formula.Water is a good filler because it's kind of natural. Or you could try putting your colour on your hair when it's damp (toweled dried). Make sure you use a Shampoo and Conditioner for Colour Treated Hair. Once the bleached hair has grown out it will be easier for you to keep the darker brown in your hair because there will be pigment back in your hair. There's no pigment in your hair from the bleach, therefore when you colour your hair the colour has nothing to grab on to. that's why you need to add a filler to your colour.

Hair won't stay dark brown?

You may have to wait until the blond has grown out. You might want to go to the salon, they may be able to keep your dark brown color.

Hair won't stay dark brown?

WOAH. take a break from coloring or doing anything to your hair for at LEAST a few monthes!

You are putting too many chemicals into your hair which is damaging it. Wait until your hair grows out and get a small trim to get rid of the dead ends.

Hair won't stay dark brown?

Go to a professional. You may have to let it grow out and cut it back before it will take color like it should again. Sounds like you are doing too much to it.

Hair won't stay dark brown?

The answer to this is the bleach you have underneath. The new dye has nothing to "grip" onto so you need to "fill" it. Without getting to technical, next time you dye your hair, put a semi colour on first to create some red pigment say a reddish brown just put it on without diluting. Then put your dark brown colour over the top and process for as long as you can. Another idea is to "top up" the colour by using a brown colour shampoo in between colourings. Hope this helps you.

Hair won't stay dark brown?

Mine does the same thing. its just the effect of the blonde you had before. im still waiting for the day that it stays the color i want it to

Hair won't stay dark brown?

dye your hair dark brown

Dying my hair blonde help?

okay this is rediculous lol

i have natural blondish brown hair, since i was little

its been died so many colors, from pink to green from black to blonde again lol

anywho- its black right not

last week i put a brown hair dye on it, DID NOT WORK, worked on the roots a bit

I WANT BLONDE HAIR NOW OKAY LOL

anywho i bought the maximum blonde kit made just for black hair, it turned my hair cherry red, like a natural red heads hair lol

so then i put this 15.00 loreal hair dying kit on it, it says blonde color GUARANTEED LOL,

anyways its in right now, but with no change

WHAT HAIR DYE SHOULD I USE???? SHOULD I JUST GO HAVE IT DONE PROFESSIONALY? IVE NEVER HAD TO HAVE MY HAIR DONE PREFOEESIONALY, ITS JUST THAT THE BLACK IS HARD TO CHANGE LOL

any help greatly appreciated thanks a mill!

Dying my hair blonde help?

First of all too much hair dying is not good for your hair. If you are wanting to go blonde I would recommend doing it professionally. Someone experienced is your best bet. They will know what the best route to go for your hair will be. Also, don't do it for a few weeks. Let your hair breathe a little before you go for the bleach.

I just went blonde and would never dream of doing it without professional help. And I have naturally dark brown hair. It is almost black.

Dying my hair blonde help?

i would say you have to do it little by little or else if you bleach it, it will fall out. i mean like inches and chunks of hair will just come out. so eather die it little by little yourself and dont use any harsh bleaches or get it done.

Dying my hair blonde help?

Did you use a color remover before bleaching your hair?

If not that might be why your hair turned cherry red.

You have to remove the haircolor first then bleach then recolor.

Dying my hair blonde help?

i just did a similar thing!! my hair is medium brown .. and i had my hair platinum blonde before.. a lil less then a year age.. and it did NOT fall out, but my hair is in good condition..

so, yesterday, i bleached it myself, and it came out mostly blonde but with red tones.. so today i went to a professional, and they bleached it again!! but most of the red is gone, now its yellow blonde.. so im waiting to get the yellow toned out..

but YES!! being that i did it myself, i do reccommend going to a professional.. it IS a bit pricy tho.. but they will get the red out.. but it MIGHT come out yellow for u too..(everyones haid is different) so hopeflly itll come out good for u..

Dying my hair blonde help?

After it is in the orange gold stage you can either put a toner on it or a blonde hair color on it.Go for a least med blonde or so . But,really you would be ahead in the long run just to go to a salon (or at the very least a school) You can end up spending just as much doing the trial %26amp; error,as going in .And your hair gets in pretty out of condition in the process.

I have so many colors in my hair...???

I have totally natural hair (well duh lol). I have never dyed it or highlighted it or nothing like that. My color is dirty blonde but, I also have red, black, and brown parts in it. Where u can see my hair, it is platinum blonde, dirty blonde, and brown. Underneath, it is all different shades of blonde, and there are hairs that are black, and some are even red. My quesion is, I want to keep it blonde, but over Christmas break, I want to try that Loreal stuff that only last 2 weeks, I want to use brown. I dont want to mess up my hair color though. My fam says that I shouldnt but I dont know what to do!!!! HELP ME PLZ.!!!!! lolz

I have so many colors in my hair...???

Temporary colors are great because they don't lighten your hair first and then darken as they develop. They also stay on your hair for a shorter time. Read the box carefully before you do anything. Sometimes, the color can be more permanent on lighter hair if you are going darker. (This happened to me.) But, change is fun and if you take care of your hair after coloring, it will be fine. Good shampoos and conditioners will keep it healthy while you have fun.

Good luck!

I have so many colors in my hair...???

Temporary colors don't stay in long its called a rinse last only 2-4 weeks. Your hair will be fine and it will go back to its multicolor look without damaging it. Just make sure the box does not say Permanent.

I have so many colors in my hair...???

If it really only lasts 2 weeks I say go for it. I would try a light brown because the color always turns out darker than you think it's going to.

I have so many colors in my hair...???

If you like your natural color... you really shouldn't try to color it yourself. Temporary hair color is an oxymoron.

I have so many colors in my hair...???

Make sure its temporary and then it will not matter. Remember each different color on your head will take the color differently so you still will have some tonal differences.

I have so many colors in my hair...???

i would say if it only lasts for 2 weeks totaly go for it, but if you end up not liking it, there's no problem because it will only last a couple weeks. and if you end up liking it a different shade than what it is, then dye it that color. dont be afraid to try new things.

I have so many colors in my hair...???

If it is temporary, I say go for it.

My hair is similar. The overall look of it is red, but the individual strands go from deep coppery red to so light blonde it looks clear, most are in between. The blond is mostly underneath. I would have to bleach it if I wanted it dyed though so I'll stick with the way it is.

I have dark brown hair and I want to dye it with LOREAL dark red?

do you think it will work?

I have dark brown hair and I want to dye it with LOREAL dark red?

I think it will work.

Brown is in fact a dark tone of red and it will blend into your original hair colour more naturally than any other colours.

Have fun! :)

I have dark brown hair and I want to dye it with LOREAL dark red?

Yes it does I dyed mine from medium brown to red with no problem the only thing is you have to do the roots regularly as it shows up easily

I have dark brown hair and I want to dye it with LOREAL dark red?

It will be nice.

It will surely work.

LOREAL is sooooo coooooooooool.

Do girls in loreal ads have perms or is that their natural hair?

don't call me stupid lol

Do girls in loreal ads have perms or is that their natural hair?

I love Loreal make-up, skin care and hair color. That being said I don't think any of us should believe the pictures we see in ads. They are carefully orchestrated to sell a product and as such will only see the very best and not necessarily the most realistic outcome. One of the reasons I like the new Loreal Make-up ads is Diane Keaton makes no attempt to have her lines airbrushed out. She says her focus is healthy skin and she shows that. Based on that, I bought both the new skin care cream and foundation and LOVED THEM!

Do girls in loreal ads have perms or is that their natural hair?

I don't know what they do to it, but I guarantee whatever it was it took hours to create and is most definitely not natural.

Do girls in loreal ads have perms or is that their natural hair?

No they probably have a shampoo and roller set as that is much kinder to hair than a perm

Do girls in loreal ads have perms or is that their natural hair?

these women have to go through a process of blow drying.

but this is not certain.

Do girls in loreal ads have perms or is that their natural hair?

If they are african american of course they use perms!!

Does that new Loreal "Long and Strong" really work for growing your hair faster?

never tried it, but i do go by the calendar at farmersalmanac.com. ( when is the best time to cut hair for growth) it does work!

Does that new Loreal "Long and Strong" really work for growing your hair faster?

I am guessing that Loreal "Long and Strong" does not help make your hair grow faster. What I do is wash my hair brush every other day, or so. That helps me, atleast. :D

Does that new Loreal "Long and Strong" really work for growing your hair faster?

i have the stuff,no it dous not say it will make your hair grow faster, but it will help with split ends and hair brakage,so your hair can grow longer

Does that new Loreal "Long and Strong" really work for growing your hair faster?

I don't think that it will actually make your hair grow faster. Hair is programmed to grow 6 new inches every year, which means half an inch every month, on an average scalp. Long and Strong Loreal probably helps it stay strong so that you can grow long hair healthy and beautifully. I hope this information helped you.

Dying Hair?

I am dying my hair today. I need some advice, my hair is like a dirty blonde, and i have died my hair 2 times now, the first using belle color, and it was chesnut brown, but it washed out in about 4 days. the next i used loreal excellene creame, and the color was light ash brown, it lasted a little longer, but i did that around may 19th, and by the middle of june or earlier the color was gone again. im wondering what kind of hair dye kit i should get this time, and what color so it stays in good. Im looking for a darker look, not too dark, but a brownish color. Advise anyone?

Dying Hair?

make sure to get a permanent haircolor. You may be purchasing semi-permanent which only last about 12 -20 shampoos.

Dying Hair?

u shud get it permantly died so then u wudnt have to worry about it washin out if you get wat i mean and you should have black and then red tints always looks good!

Dying Hair?

DONT

Dying Hair?

dont dye it soo much u can lose hair ,if u want it to stay get permanent

Dying Hair?

If it keeps washing out your are probably using temporary color or semi permanent. If you want it to change permanently you need to use permanent color like Nice and Easy or Clairol Hydrience. I color my hair to cover gray so I always use permanent color. When I was younger and had just a little gray I used Natural Instincts - it's semi permanent. It would last about a month. Temporary and semi permanent color will only darken your hair. You can't use it to make your hair lighter.

Go to: http://www.clairol.com. You may find some answers there.

Good luck!

Dying Hair?

It sounds to me like you are getting hair dyes that are either not permanent or are semi-permanent. If you want it to last longer try a long lasting color. Make sure it says that it is permanent on the box. Also try some shampoo for color treated hair. There are some shampoos that help your hair color last longer. Try Color Conserve from Aveda.

does not sound like to me that you are leaving the product on you hair long enough and remember if your hair is longer you need to use two boxes of the product ....most times when you use a prem dye you can not wash it out neverrrrrrrr its impossible...good luck try two boxes if you have longer hair and it should honestly stay

Hey guys im a guy with long str8 hair but i need 2 no which hair care range is better Pantene vs lor

I'd say Loreal. My coworkers (I work in a salon) and hairdressers over the years have never had anything good to say about Pantene. I've used products by both companies and the Loreal has always made my hair feel nicer in the long run (and smelled better!)

Hey guys im a guy with long str8 hair but i need 2 no which hair care range is better Pantene vs loreal?

If you want to keep your hair in it's peak condition, you should buy a salon-quality shampoo and conditioner.

Hey guys im a guy with long str8 hair but i need 2 no which hair care range is better Pantene vs loreal?

patine is definetly better, i've been using it all my life and i love it!

Hey guys im a guy with long str8 hair but i need 2 no which hair care range is better Pantene vs loreal?

try using garnier fructius. it comes in a green bottle. all pantine pro-v does is leave wax in your hair and the wax is what makes it look so shiny.

Loreal Color Pulse: What does purple look over black hair?

I wanna try it but i heard that it doesn't really show. Can anyone who's done it tell me or show me what it looks like. Preferbly asian. Thanks.

Loreal Color Pulse: What does purple look over black hair?

It won't show up at all because your hair is a dark color. Plus that's only a rinse. If you want your hair purple, your best bet is to go to a salon and have them do it for you.

é–³?br>Loreal Color Pulse: What does purple look over black hair?

it doesn't show.

Loreal Color Pulse: What does purple look over black hair?

it will mess up your hair for good! My cousin has dont it and no her hair looks gross! No hair color can go over black, darlin

Loreal Color Pulse: What does purple look over black hair?

good.

Loreal Color Pulse: What does purple look over black hair?

Usally the deal with this is you just see a hint of the color in direct sunlight.

Loreal Color Pulse: What does purple look over black hair?

It's not as dramatic as you would probably like, but it washes out so quickly, you should try it. (Literally, in three days, it's gone completely).

Frizzy hair!!! HELP!?

i have quite frizzy, wavy hair. Ive used alot of products in the past but my favorite has been LOreal anti-frizz creme. It does work but im looking for something different because it make my hair greasy looking even when i only put a dob on.

Any suggestions?

Frizzy hair!!! HELP!?

i have pretty frizzy hair too, and ive used dove anti-frizz creme it workes for me. and i also got herbal essences (none of your frizzness) shampoo. but strangely the thing that worked the best for me was sunsilk beyond brunette shampoo, (or if ur blonde try it for blondes) it workes for me.

Frizzy hair!!! HELP!?

I've used John Freida Frizz Ease and that's pretty good, also tresemme smoothing serum, any serums etc to smooth your hair are good, also straightening helps me heaps, you just gotta experiment to find the right product for you

Frizzy hair!!! HELP!?

Read my question! Maybe it will help. My question is right on top of yours. Lol.

Will using a semi-permanent dye over highlights hurt my hair too much?

My hair is kind of damaged but not too badly, it's really thick so I get away with a lot. I want to put a semi-permanent dye like loreal casting creme gloss over my blond highlights to blend it all in and darken my hair to my natural dark blond/light brown. On the box it says you shouldn't use it on 'progressively colored hair', which kinda sounds like it would damage highlighted hair. Yet I've heard of people with bleached hair using semis and being fine. I'm confused. What do you think?

Will using a semi-permanent dye over highlights hurt my hair too much?

i think ur hair wont get damaged.

What can I do to achieve the hair of my dreams?

I am 16 yrs old and male.My hair is thick, too thick and grows very fast . It tends to stand up on my head and looks awful. After shampoing it pulls out even more and looks worse. It is also quite dry.

I have tried many oils, shampoos, conditioners and natural remedies (including applying egg yolk)but nothing seems to work on them. I used Estolan conditioner and my hair did improve about 20% but its not going more than that.

And one more thing when i have just come out of the shower and my hair is wet it looks brilliant. Its so manageable, nice, smooth silky. But once it dries up it starts looking awful again. Someone recommended the Loreal Elvive Nutri Gloss leave-in conditioner to me. What do you think I should do?

The hair I dream of is smooth, silky, manageable and dead straight.

What can I do to achieve the hair of my dreams?

First off go to a salon and have your hair thinned

Then have it straightened, the best way to do that is the Japanese hair straightening system, costs big BUCKS

The key to my hair looking and feeling better is DRINK LOTS OF WATER

Herbal Essence is good shampoo and Pantene Intensive Conditioning Treatment is great

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

Know of the best shampoo and conditioner for the above hair type? I prefer professional products please. Products like Pantene, Dove, even Loreal's cheaper range do not work for me. Salon brand Redken stopped working for me after a while so, perhaps other recommendations, please. I would also need the specific names of the shampoo and conditioner. Thanks a lot.

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

I color my hair and I prefer Biolage Shampoo/Conditioner it's great....and smells awsome.I believe now you cna buy it at most stores you used to only be able to buy it at salons.

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

Neutrogena Triple Moisture

There's shampoo, conditioner and a deep conditioning treatment that I use and I get many compliments on how shiny my hair is. I also do NOT use a blow dryer, except for rare occasions. It's the styling tools and the heat in them that really does the most damage. Getting a good cut that will air dry well is my secret.

Hair colors have gotten more and more gentle - but maybe you should consider using a different formula/brand. If you are coloring to lighten your hair, consider going a shade or two darker. This will probably look better and won't damage your hair as much.

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

do a good old fashiond VO5 hot oil treatment. they say to do them about once a week, but i've done them every day for a week w/o making my hair greasy b/c it was so damaged.

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

my mom has damaged hair and she usually uses pantene brunette expressions.

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

Try rejoice or palmolive!

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

Try the new herbal essences line, there's one called hello hydration, works good, i like the dangerously straight. A valible in condi. and shamp. Also try Paul Mitchell products

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

Bracato's Cloud 9 shampoo and conditioner is awsome

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

katz

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

Try Schwarzkopf products instead. They've excellent hair care products.

Under Schwarzkopf products, find 1 of their series - Gliss Kur. Try the Deep Repair 19: for dry, stressed hair %26amp; Color Protect 30: for coloured, permed hair.

For more details, pls visit their official website at http://www.consumer.schwarzkopf.com

I've tried using their hair care products and have proven results, thus I'll introduce you to their products. The price is more expensive but I think it's worth it. Hope it works for you as well.

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

use sunsilk

its my favorite..theyre different typse for all hair

Dry, damaged, coloured hair?

Forget about the hair products these girls are mentioning , trust me they wont work....I dont know if you've heard of Carols Daughter products, jade pinkett smith , mary j. blige are recommending them... they are just wonderful ...i've just started using her hair products not so long ago and they have worked for me...Give them a try too...you'll be happy with the results. And they are not as expensive as you might be thinking.

I want to dye my hair this colour..?

http://img230.imageshack.us/my.php?image...

The blonde,

what hair dye should i use

like for example at the moment i use 'Loreal lightest natural blonde' which should i use, the name would be great and the brand would be even better! thanks

I want to dye my hair this colour..?

That girl looks like she's overbaked in the tanning salon and hasn't had any sleep in years... eek!

I want to dye my hair this colour..?

idkk. :/

I want to dye my hair this colour..?

get it done at a salon!!! so much less damaging! last longer and looks soooo much better!

I want to dye my hair this colour..?

Don't dye your hair blonde yourself. You'll regret it. Go to a professional and bring the picture. They can have you hair that EXACT color without you suffering the horrors of a bad hair dye.

Hope I've helped!

I want to dye my hair this colour..?

if you want to go that light i wouldnt suggest using store bought dye, go to a pro. Blonde is a toughcolour to get so i wouldnt take any chances

Is Loreal Vive shampoo good for hair?

I have hairloss, no volume,no shine, oily hair. All bad things are on my hair.I realy don`t know what to do,I have used many shampos but anything worked.I`m thinking to use Vive shampoo, but I don`t know ,I`m affraid I`ll have more hairloss,.What do you think about this shampoo? Is it good?To start using it or no?

Is Loreal Vive shampoo good for hair?

I didn't quite catch. If you ask me whether the L. shampoo is good for ME? or for YOU?

As for me, it's ok.

If you ask for advice how to solve your problem, then I would recommend to go to a an expert. There are doctors that deal with hair problems. what do you call them.. it slipped my mind. however, you may find such a doctor if you want. Perhaps, the problem is inside you, in this case all shampoos and hair-care products are just a waste of money.

Is Loreal Vive shampoo good for hair?

I USE IT MY HAIR IS COOL!!!

Is Loreal Vive shampoo good for hair?

I think that for you, you might want to try a milder and more gentle shampoo than Loreal Vive. You might go with their kids formula or even a baby shampoo. I know it sounds silly but with hair loss you need to try the gentlest formula possible. You also need to make sure to take a multi-vitamin, I've heard that sometimes hair loss can be contributed to an unhealthy diet or stress. Washing your hair too often could be bad for it too. Hope this helps.

Is Loreal Vive shampoo good for hair?

It's a good shampo. I do not know that it does anything for hair loss. Try Rogaine shampoo or seek a doctor's opinion for the best health procedure.

Hair problems?

okay, my hair is thick, curly, and extremely frizzy. Everything I've tried(Garnier Fructis, Sunsilk, John Freida, Loreal, combinations) does little to tame it. I have virtually no time to use blow dryers, straighteners, etc so what can I use to help??

Hair problems?

I can't say much seeing I haven't actually seen your hair, but you might want to try your favorite solon and ask your hair dresser who would know your hair best. They can also recommend to you the latest products that might help.

Hair problems?

Frizz ease. I am not sure if that is how they spell it on the bottle. If that doesnt work there is also this cholesterol stuff that is a treatment you buy in a big tub. I know it sounds disgusting but it really works.

Hair problems?

You need to put mustard oil every night to strong your hair.(It will make your hair strong, black )

You may be belongs to a place where there are much Iron in your day to daily life water usages.

After 7 day using the mustard oil go to parlour and do a hair straighteners.

Hair problems?

No Chemical Straighteners. This will only make things worse!!!

Every week, I make it a point to DEEP Condition my hair. It's similar to what they do at salons...I put Olive oil on my hair before I wash it...then wrap it in a bun and put on a shower cap and blow my blow dryer on it for like 10 or 15 minutes. Then I wash my hair REALLY well. After washing it, I take my favorite conditioner ( I use moisturizing shampoo like Biolage...pricey but effective) and I put it on the ends first. Then I put it on the rest of my hair. Then I put my hair in a bun and wrap it a few times in plastic wrap. Then I wrap it in my towel for about a half hour..sometimes if it's super dry outside, I put a warm blow dryer to my head before I wrap in the towel. When it's time to rinse, I rinse with warm water...not cold (because it's too cold for my scalp!!!)

Then I just style as normal.

To be honest when you have curly hair like us, you really have to try different products. I like Biolage, Got2B, and Motions. Good luck.

I know that my hair washing ritual sounds tedious, but it really does help!!! Good luck!

I wanna cover my hair with dark brown which shade # in loreal is good,Indian lady?

why don't you just apply mehndi...

I wanna cover my hair with dark brown which shade # in loreal is good,Indian lady?

What colour is your hair now? Just look for the shade you want and take a look at the outcomes on the side of the box. It will tell you what that colour should look like depending on your current hair colour.

If you already have dark hair and your looking to lighten it to dark brown, go to a professional.

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

i can't even put my hair into a simple ponytail cos of the poofness i hav to plait it like a leash lol i only let it down after straightening it for like 3 hours i have a an emo side fringe and layers i thought layers would help but they didn't rele help is there no trick that i haven't been told about? oh i even bought loreal super smooth shampoo + conditioner but it din't really work i don't usually blow dry my hair i let it dry naturally is this one of the reasons of poofness and also my fringe is fine i straighten it like evryday but i can't do my actual hair cos it just poofs seriously any tips for SUPER SMOOTH hair? like silkyness xxx love you all

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

well i use this herbal essence frizziness lotion thing.

just get a small bit and rub it through your hair. and your hair should stay smooth

hope i helped =]

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

take one of those dryer sheets and rub it on your hair, it will help kill any static which may be a part of your problem.

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

silkiness comes from about an hour of straight ironing. we have the same problem!! i use a garnier fructisee straightening syrum, and blowdry. then i use a straight iron. over and over untill my hair is very soft and straight!!! it works!

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

well u probably shouldn't blow dry ur hair it drys it out trust me itll make ur hair even poofier.after u wash ur hair u should put some kind of moisturizer then braid ur hair into 4 braids depinding on how much hair u have then in the morning take the braids out and comb ur hair a little bit not to much.it wont be straight itll be wavy but at least its controllable if ur hair is dry then put a little bit more moisturizer in ur hair.email me if this works.

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

These are the steps i use:

-Wash hair with John Freida's Straight Ahead shampoo/conditioner.

-Rinse hair out with cold water(helps eliminate fly-aways)

-Use John Freida's Frizz ease serum after, while hair is damp.

-Blow-dry hair straight.

-Sleep with hair down, not in a ponytail.

-Straighten hair in the morning.

It works for me...hope it does for you too =)

I need Help with my hair its like majorly frizzed!?

Gosh sweety. Sounds like we have the same hair.

I have a ton of hair too, and it poofs out big time cuz of the curls and waviness.

I just did a video on youtube. Heres the link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUfhUtCa-...

I like to use John Frieda's shampoos and conditioners but SunSilks products work well too. None of them defrizz hair all the way tho.

What I suggest you do? After your hair is ALMOST all the way dry, use some Frizz Ease, John Frieda's Secret Weapon Finishing Creme. Apply a small amount thru the hair. Brush it out, then blow dry it out straight as you can. (hold the dryer ABOVE the hair! and blow down the hair!) Then go back thru it with a straight iron. This takes so little time to do, especially if you're on the run.

You'll never have super smooth hair, because of the curl. But you can get it so it stays flat as you can get it, for your hair type.

Hope this helps!

I am female - 25 ...help me with my hair dilemma!?

i started going grey at 13 used henna for a while only because i wanted to use something natural did that for 5 years then i switched to loreal as henna is too much of a hassle...now i dont feel like coloring my hair anymore. currently my color is dark brown and when my silver roots start to show only after two weeks of coloring it just drives me crazy and waiting for another two weeks is so much hard (especially when i have to go to some party). i am so fed up with it that i am even thinking of going bald and have decided that i wont color my hair again...but its needs lots of courage...is there any other better solution to lighten my color without causing anymore damage to my hair...as grey roots look nasty in dark hair ...help me

I am female - 25 ...help me with my hair dilemma!?

hmmm.

thats a toughy...

if u haven't already i would seek professional help just in case there is more problems lying underneath the surface that you may be unaware of.

i would continue dying it... but if it is that much of a hassel.

maybe... shave your head and buy some wigs.

wigs are a fun hip way to change hairstyles every day.

try it out!

and good luck!!!

I am female - 25 ...help me with my hair dilemma!?

Bleach your hair blonde, itll be less obvious.

I am female - 25 ...help me with my hair dilemma!?

dye your hair a lighter color.

usually ash blonde helps keep out the brassy tones when changing dark hair to light so it doesnt look orange.

but you should consider meeting with a nutrtionist, maybe they can help.

I am female - 25 ...help me with my hair dilemma!?

WTF do you eat?

I am female - 25 ...help me with my hair dilemma!?

Other than keeping on dying your roots, I would have to say a wig woud be the only way to go. There's a lot of stylish ones out there:). You can dye for a season, and where the wig for the next.

I am female - 25 ...help me with my hair dilemma!?

highlights are an option it will help blend in your grays rather then cover or camoflauge them. If you get it done at a salon it should be non damaging have them add a shine gloss like shades eq clear gloss or prisms(semi- permenent) color along with the highlights, this will soften hair cuticle and make it shine. stay away from henna for its a metalic dye, which could react to metal or solutions like perms or some colors,

I am female - 25 ...help me with my hair dilemma!?

First make sure you're not anemic, also maybe get a vitamin-deficiency test. (I've read that nutrition and nutrient absorption can affect greys, but I'm not sure that's completely true.) Second, were you henna'ing your whole head each time? Maybe you could consider just doing the roots. Or do a henna gloss, which only takes about a half hour. You could also try cassia, which is applied like henna, and can (if you get good cassia) tint the greys blonde. One more thing, rather than shaving it off, you could cut it pixie short and then henna or cassia would be much easier to handle. I think that is a better option than shaving it off. Good luck!

I am female - 25 ...help me with my hair dilemma!?

I would go with foiling highlights .. as already mentioned in here.. but go for slicing instead of chunking or just weaving.. have your stylist slice foils in at the top and weave throughout.. it's pretty and covers the sliver roots much better than darker tints..

Some leave in conditioner suggestions?I have very dry hair that frizzes fast. I use loreal vive and

but i need a good leave in conditioner as well. something that is under $8. thank you in advance!

Some leave in conditioner suggestions?I have very dry hair that frizzes fast. I use loreal vive and i love it!

Under $8 is kind of hard to work with.

Aveda has a great leave in thats like $10. Its called Elixer.

Good luck :) I love this one.

Some leave in conditioner suggestions?I have very dry hair that frizzes fast. I use loreal vive and i love it!

You will probably not find any leave in conditioner worthwhile unless you are willing to spend $8-25, sorry these companies who use the best ingredients and take the time in the lab, are going to cost more. I'm cheap! But a huge favorite here in Colorado is CHI silk infusion, you rub it in towel dried hair. It works, but as with anything you have to work with it, you cannot expect to dye, bleach, perm, blow dry, highlight and straighten your hair all in the same month and have shiny silky hair!

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

okay so my hair is like a medium brownish and i dont want to dye it all just like LITTLE streaks here and there so i bought and loreal dye and the color is sandstone blonde

im not going for highlights i just want streaks so my hair looks

multicolored

im going for something like this

http://www.mybellacolor.com/BROWN_MULTI_...

please can someone help me do this and gv me DETAILED DIRECTIONS

i hv never dyed my hair b4

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

Unfortunately her hair is highlighted and this was done with bleach....she also has a lot of red in her hair...with out bleach to do highlights you will not get the blonds but you will get the reds, and you may even get some oranges, depending on how much red is naturally in your hair.

First I would do a strand test to make sure this is a color you will like. mix up a cap full of each the color and the developer and apply to a chunk of hair somewhere no one can see, but you. (up over your ear) Apply if from the root to the end. Wait about 30 min.

If you choose to do this get a comb, pin up all but the bottom of your hair....apply the color with the comb....not a lot of color on the comb for a more subtle result, and you don't want big blotches. Go to the next level of hair and do the same all of the way up the hair till you get to the top. If you are using just a little color as you apply the hair lying on the last parting of hair will not be so affected. Have fun

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

Go ask my friend Robyn. Her hair's green.

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

I hear the biggest new trend in highlighting is just freestyling it. I'd just grab pieces and put the dye on it. Simple as that. It's the best you're gonna get by trying to do it yourself and you'd be surprised how nice it can look. Works for me.

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

i've tried doing highlights at home before, it's very hard to make it look good, unless you know what you're doing.

i screwed mine all up.

i would advise you to go get it done professionally, it doesn't cost that much, and you're guaranteed a good job.

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

OK TO DO THAT U WILL NEED HELP OR A HAIR DRESSER BUT WHAT U DO IS THA EASIEST IS GET TIN FOIL AND A SEPERTAT UR AHIR IN TO LEVELS AND EVER LEAVEL GRAB A STRAND AND USE THE DIED THE FOLD TIN FOIL ON IT SO IT WONT GET ON UR OTHER PIECES OF HAIR

I need help... about to dye hair PLEASE HELP?

For that effect, you need to use highlighting bleach, not regular haircolor. You can get a kit that has a cap that you pull strands of hair through, or one that comes with a little brush to apply to certain strands of hair. If I were you, I'd go to Sally Beauty and ask one of the gals there to help you pick out a kit and explain how to use it. It's not difficult, but much easier to explain in person. Good luck and have fun!

Hair color?

I have naturally long curly blonde hair and I like to put black stripes in it occationally. I rarely dye my hair or harshly style it. My problem is that when I color my hair with permanent hair dye it only lasts for about 6 months and than completly washes out. I have tried loreal, garnier. how can I make permanent- permanent??

Hair color?

one thing if it grows out then it grows out you cant help it.! but my firnd just goes and get it done again

Hair color?

permanent hair dye (both from the store and having it done professionally) will last for only a limited amount of time. check the boxes or ask your stylist for information about how long the color will last before you have to get it done again. since hair is constantly growing, you will have areas by your scalp that needs color when it grows out.

Hair color?

Katana, if your hair is bleached blond, the outside(cuticle) layer of your hair has been opened, therefore the color leaks out faster then it would if it wasn't

colored. All color fades, 6 months is along time for a color to last.By six months you would have a three inch regrowth anyhow, so just retouch it

Help with hair coloring?

i have dark brown hair and i wanted to dye my bangs silver

so i applied loreal quick blue bleach and let it sit for 30 minutes.

it turned out to be a golden blonde, so i bleached it once more

and it turned a little lighter. a few days later i applied a 1:2 liquid and creme solution which was a silver white and let it sit for about an hour. it was still blonde. should i bleach it once more? can someone give me some advice, technique or a better product to get my desired affect?

Help with hair coloring?

Try lightening it one more time. Use an ash blonde to lighten it, this will help to take out all gold or redish tones. Although your hair may become dry or rough feeling, it is safe to lighten your hair more than once. What you eant to achieve is a light, almost white blonde. Try putting a plastic cap on your hair and zapping with a blow dryer. Heat increases the speed at which your hair lightens. BE CAREFUL! If at anytime your hair becomes "mushy" or "noodley" feeling when it is wet, it means tht your hair has been lifted too much and is beginning to damage your hair. Always use a salon quality moisturizing conditioner after highlighting to restore the ph balance and keep your locks healthy. Hope this helped you.

Help with hair coloring?

i dont know

Help with hair coloring?

I say be careful. My sister did something similar to this and her hair broke off. Bleaching is very harsh on your hair and every time you do it you're damaging it more and more. At this point I think it's better that you just go to a salon and see what they can do for you. They have access to products that you don't and can tell you if what you want is possible for your hair.

Help with hair coloring?

Wait a minute don't use bleach to get a silver look. I have dark brown hair also and I dye it . when getting hair dye look on the package you want something that says for dark or brunette hair only. To get a silver look I would go to your salon and ask them what you need. They are really good with stuff like that. bleach will always give you a blonde look. black and white make silver so maybe try a frost. Look in the hair dye isle and make sure you read the back. I really hope this helps. Good luck to you.

Which is better, loreal color pulse or herbal essences colorflirt? and what shade to get chocolate b

i have medium/light brown hair, and i want a dark, chocolate brown, so what color should i use, and what are ur results from using any of the products

Which is better, loreal color pulse or herbal essences colorflirt? and what shade to get chocolate brown hair?

I think that the Natural Instincts (i forgot the manufacturer) works better and lasts longer. Color Pulse is okay but doesnt stay bright and fresh. I havent tried colorflirt though.

I lost the directions to my hair dy that i just bought(loreal preference)how long should i keep it i

25 minutes

I lost the directions to my hair dy that i just bought(loreal preference)how long should i keep it in for?

about 30mins. i keep it in, until it starts burning, which i dont recommend but just my preference.

I lost the directions to my hair dy that i just bought(loreal preference)how long should i keep it in for?

It depends on how hard your hair is to color. If it takes the color easily, then usually about 15-20 minutes is enough. If it's more stubborn or you're covering a lot of grey, then 30-40 minutes is normal. You should do a strand test before coloring all of it so you know how long it'll take.

Special product cover for grey hair before applying hair dye for longer color?

my grey roots start showing within days of applying Loreal Mojirel hairdye

I heard that there is some product available in US which is used on the grey hair before application of the actual hair dye. this makes the color stay on the grey hair much longer upto 5 weeks even. Does anyone know about this product?

Special product cover for grey hair before applying hair dye for longer color?

The biggest trick is to get your hair absolutely clean. Before coloring, my stylist uses a special clarifying shampoo, which removes oils and residual chemicals from the hair. Unfortunately I don't know what its called. Perhaps you could ask your stylist, or call a Sally Beauty Supply if there is one near you.

Special product cover for grey hair before applying hair dye for longer color?

I dunno the product u mean.. Maybe u can try Heina ( use by indian ppl ) its really works! My mum got grey hair since young n she said Heina can last for 3 month!!

Special product cover for grey hair before applying hair dye for longer color?

No, But conditon well! And what is wrong with grey? P.S. are you Canadian?

I have dark brown hair, are there any dyes that will give me a slightly lighter color ?

I have dark brown long hair. To get it blonde, it damages my hair too much, so I decided that maybe for a change, I would dye the top half a redish copper brown for a slight contrast. I went to Sally beauty supply and bought loreal color gems, mixed with the activator and absolutely nothing happened. I should have known because the dye is only demi-permanent. Is there any dye out there that will give me a slightly lighter color without having to lighten my hair first? I don't want the top too red, something red, coppery to blend well with the brown, but show a contrast. If anyone can give me some good advice without having to damage my hair I would really appreciate it. Thanks !

It's really hard to dye dark hair lighter. Try bleaching it and then dying it the color you want, THEN get a haircut. Use Pantene-Pro V intense conditioning treatment and you should be fine! If that doesn't work, dark brown hair is beautiful!!! If you want a change, get a few highlights that always looks good and it damages your hair less.

bleaching hair is not that bad if u do it well, don't bleach it too bright. redish color only need orange-bleached hair to get in.if you still dont want to bleach, then you can try colored your hair with higher level peroxide but the color may turned out dull.

Hair dye? NEED HELP FAST!?

i lost my instruction booklet for my do-it-yourself loreal hair dye thing! Can anyone tell me how to mix it????? how much of bottle #1 goes with bottle #2

Hair dye? NEED HELP FAST!?

Doesent matter. You Mix so much with bottle # 1 and bottle # 2 for however much hairdye you need.

Instructions:

Put however much white solution you need which acts as the dye in the mixing bowl.

Then put about the same amount of the other solution in with the dye and mix it.This acts as the color.

Hair dye? NEED HELP FAST!?

put the whole dye into the bottle and mix mix mix and shake shake for about 10mins.

Hair dye? NEED HELP FAST!?

all of it

Hair dye? NEED HELP FAST!?

from expierence. dont use the at home dye. its really hard on your hair and has some sort of lock so you cant get moisture in your hair. plus from the dye it fries it which will make your hair really nasty and unhealthy looking. ive used it alot and it faded in 2-3 weeks, which means you need to dye it AGAIN. whcih makes it even worse on your hair. if you still wanna dye it, look online or on loreal website

Hair dye? NEED HELP FAST!?

As far as i know you mix all of the bottle with the other one and time how long its in your hair. Im pretty sure no more than 30 minutes in your hair.

Help with hair?

when i wash my hair and it dries, my hair gets poofy and frizzy. i tried antipoof shampoo and conditioner (along with the 24/7 creme it comes with) by sunsilk. i also went onto antipoofhair.com and nothing worked! i'm going to try loreal for kids (tames frizz apparently) tomorrow, but i still want to know if anyone had any poof and frizz busting tips that REALLY worked. i'm not a fan of chemicals and all that jazz, so if you have a safe treatement (maybe even a home remedy!) that really works, i would love to hear it-- even if hair is different for everyone so what worked on you might not work on me. thanks!

Help with hair?

I use herbal essence lay it straight....and then i use a flat iron...and if you use some kind of flat iron spray, it won't damage your hair

Help with hair?

What type of hair do you have is it course or is it fine? I know my hair is fine and wavy/curly and the way I anti pouf it is why touching up the curls with a curling iron and using a de-fuser when I blow dry my hair...if you have course hair you could always try using a relaxer on your hair (however go to a professional if you plan on doing this) Then use like a anti-frizz balm, I know that cheap products don't work as well on my hair as the ones that are a little bit more costly...its worth it though because its better for your hair.

ummmm.................

go to your hair dresser and c if they hav any ideas...they ussally do :)

Help with hair?

Try some mousse or gel while it is wet and that should help control frizzies when it dries.

When I was in this phase not not using chemical straighteners, Ion's Straighten Shampoo was a GODSEND. It did not straighten, but it made my hair very manageable and non-frizzy. It's on sale this month at Sally Beauty Supply, lol. Six bucks for a liter, can't beat that. The conditioner, not so much. A good, thick, conditioner works well enough. Also, try glossing polishes/serums. You don't use very much at a time, like a nickel sized drop in your hand. Rub your palms together then finger comb it through your hair. This halts those frizzies and adds a nice sheen to your hair. Good luck!

seriously get something like shine-serum from kenra, or super skinny from paul mitchell.

i know you said that you dont' like chemicals but paul mitchell has been taking steps to become more green, and they donate money to environmentally concerned charities.

if you're concerned about the chemicals being more damaging then you don't have to worry! when you go with a salon level product they dont BS you and put in things like alcohol that are drying and cheap. they use things like sillicon that simply coat your hair to make it appear shiny and smooth and will reduce the frizz.

you might want to try a pomade or a wax if you need to step up the level a little bit on the hold. a good pomade won't make your hair appear greasy (dont put it on your roots). it's really great for styling with out making your hair crunchy too!

Help with hair?

You may want to try a professional shampoo that will give your hair the moisture it sounds like it needs. Try products like Self Absorbed shampoo and Moisture Maniac conditioner by Bed Head or All Soft shampoo and conditioner by Redken. There are also products to use after your hair is dry to help tame the frizz. One that works really well, over the counter is, Alberto VO5 hair dressing. I wouldn't recommend using a shampoo for children, they have a very high pH and will only make the problem worse.

Help with hair?

i regularly use loreal anti-frizz serum which i find really works. use it after u av washed ur hair and whilst it is still damp. afterwards try to leave ur hair to dry naturally as i find blow drying it will make it frizzier. also use a good conditioner. i use the brilliant brunettes conditioner.

Help with hair?

Some brands of shampoo and conditioner actually dry out your hair, like Herbal Essence and Sunsilk. Stay away from them! Instead try Dove, Suave, Garnier Fructis, or if you can, splurge for some of the hair salon brands.

And regardless of what brand of shampoo and conditioner you end up using, try a weekly deep conditioning treatment. Aussie has one that's great! After you wash your hair, massage some of the conditioner in your hair, leave it on for three minutes, then rinse! It really makes a difference - it will make your hair softer, smoother, and less frizzy and poofy.

Other tips:

- Wash hair with cold water because hot water frizzes up your hair.

- Every time you take a shower, leave in conditioner for 2-5 minutes (if you have time) to make it extra soft.

- Use a shine serum on you hair right after you get out of the shower. It will tame your hair and make it shiny!

Good luck!

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

should i die it again with the same color or something else

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

Well it in all honesty you should have tested a spot first but seeing you didn't, Do you use Hair color treatments on a regular basis? Or did you buy CHEAP hair color ? I know that you are suppose to wait 6 months before you re-color your hair.

What I would do is either one or 2 things, not that this would be healthy for your hair, either Bleach it even lighter or Go Darker to try and hide the flaws.

By bleaching your hair and I do not mean using Bleach, I mean go very very light with it or go Darker. This way it will cover up the mistakes.

If all else fails go to a professional hair dresser and have them fix the problem if it can be fixed.

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

I would either go brown or have it done blonde professionally. You're not going to get it right with an at home product.

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

Sounds like you went too light. Go darker and maybe an ash shade. Don't leave it on too long (maybe only 15 min. or so) and you could do it right away.

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

seriously now, comb tomato ketchup through it. something in the tomatoes neutralises hair chemicals.then wash it out

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

Go to a professional. I turned my hair green one time so I strongly feel that the professional is the best choice.

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

I..Don't think I'd try to do anything more myself at home with it. Cause' there's just no way to know what could happen to it. Sorry that happened to you.

I would think, try conditioning it really well? Because well conditioned hair always has a Softer, nicer look.

Maybe a professional could add some low lights.

But is there really a great difference between blond and yellow, when ya think about it?

You're natural color will come through as it gradually fades out, and even if you have a natural brown color? That might fade out to a nice golden brown.

Sometimes that's even nicer than blond, it's gentle on the complexion.

I don't know how long I tried to get stylist's to do mine a golden brown, and they refused!

Whoops! We acidentally dyed it blond again! How could that have been any accident, it took double processing, which they charged me for.

I stayed away from them, but I've finally got my favorite color now! Golden brown.

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

Oh boy..... As a hairstylist I have to say this should have been done in a salon. NEVER strip or BLEACH your hair at home. What you probably need (without looking at your hair) is a toner put on it. I would suggest going and having this professionally done. If you strip and or bleach your hair then color and re color it your going to end up with major breakage. DO YOU WANT TO WALK AROUND LOOKING LIKE SOME ONE CUT PIECES OF YOUR HAIR OUT??????

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

hi if your hair is naturally dark at first it does goe yellow colour but if you dye it again it will go blonde speaking from past experience

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

Get tomatoe sauce and comb it though leave in for 10 minutes and then wash out and ur hair will be lovely and blonde i did same thing and a hairdresser told me to do that and my hair was lovely afterwards GOOD LUCK

I stripped my hair and then went blonde with loreal preference and it turned yellow what do i do?

honey i am a hair colourist and can tell you that to get rid of the yellow tone in your hair you need to add ash tone to it go and buy an ash toner and put that in while your hair is wet leave it on for 20 mins then wash your hair with a silver shampoo the ash in both of these will neutrilise any yellow in your hair if that doeasnt work you will need to go to your hairdressers to get a colour correction done but please dont put any other harsh chemicals on it to try and fix it as it may snap off good luck honey hope this helps

I screwed up my hair..........please help?

I have natural dark brown hair. Just a couple of hours ago I got the bright idea to dye to top strands blonde with Garnier 100% color Bleach Blonding. The roots of my hair is so so so so bright and the rest came out okay, but I wish I would have chunked it more. So, obviously I am not happy with the results. I went and bought another kit called Loreal haircolor remover kit but have not yet used it. Would it change my dyed blonde parts back to brown? Someone please please help me. Preferrably someone who does hair coloring for a living and is awesome at it. Mahalo in advance for your answers. Please be nice, I dont usually do my own hair so be patient with me!!

I screwed up my hair..........please help?

i do my own hair and get it done constantly. Bleach is not for beginners!!!!! color remover WILL NOT HELP. it will just bleach it more. think about it this way..... your hair is like a black shirt, you spill bleach on it and it turns red or orange or white. if you put color remover ontop of that is just going to make it worse. if you just cant live with the results of your bleaching escapade go buy some dark brown dye and dye it back. chose a dye that is darker than your natural color because the lighter your hair came out the lighter the dye will. if you want to get real adventourous dye the bleached sections with red or blue. now that you bleached it the colors will be bright. also add a moisturizer to your hair afterward, home bleaching anddyeing wrecks your hair.

I screwed up my hair..........please help?

It should work fine. Just be sure to apply it evenly, and cover the area you dyed blonde;)

I screwed up my hair..........please help?

I got my entire head colored from auburn to blonde thinking that it would look good (Linday Lohan style)... went home and about cried. I went and got the hair color remover and did it right away and my hair went back to very close my natural color just a 1/2 shade lighter.

I screwed up my hair..........please help?

i think you should dye it back to your natural colour. dont use the removal stuff coz it will make it worse.. also, when you have fixed your hair, i think you should do to the hairdresser because they are professionals and they probably wont stuff it up..

good luck!

I screwed up my hair..........please help?

Well I have had a bad experience with my own hair . I shaved my head in october and it's going back all natrual but if you have bleached it you can't unbleach take it from someone who knows bald is beautiful

I screwed up my hair..........please help?

No, color remover will not add color back. It does what the name implies- remove color. Do you have spots? Or are you just too blond? Either way you have to add in a believable brown. Not easy to do after you yank out all that pigment with the bleach. Please go in for a color consultation. If there is not spotting, this is a relatively easy and inexpensive fix for a professional. IF there is spotting it is slightly more time consuming.

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my h

Yes it will show, but as the colour starts to fade out it becomes brownish red.

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

I have darkbrown/black hair and dyed that color/brand... did NOT show up. I don't advise it, waste of money.

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

I have dark brown hair and i used to have purple highlights but i had to bleach it.... sooo most likely no it wont show

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

Leave it in the full recommend time and it should- it did on my hair, but keep in mind that it's not a bright, shocking purple by any means.

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

sorry no it wont you have to leach it first :]

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

depends on how dark you are talking... it showed up on mine... and if you want it brighter then just dye it again .. it brightens with each time you dye it

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

It will show for a day or so, then as it washes out it will fade to a reddish tinge left on your hair. Not worth it for the length of time it looks good imo

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

Purple??

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

Not a lot. You will have a purple hue under some lights and out in daylight. With dark brown hair you will have to strip the color to a blonde and then color it--pretty harsh. I have dark blonde hair and the purple that my stylist put in it didn't make it a real purple and she told me about the strip and color.

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

no sweetheart it wont. bleach it first. thenn it will look great

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

Im sure it would probably show some but if you have dark brown and you want to die it purple then you might want to bleach your hair first before you die it purple that way it turns out better. (this is what i had to do to die my hair blond, I have red red red red hair and when i first tryed it, it turned orange.lol) good luck with dying your hair, hope it turns out for you. :)

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

what u wanna do is bleach your hair first or it wont show

I have dark brown hair but I want to use loreal color pulse to dye it purple. Will it show with my hair color

I also have dark brown hair naturally and my hair was always colored some dark shade of brown whenever I used it. I used the copper red colored one and the black one. They showed up in my hair. Make sure you follow the directions.

Why i have hard time coloring my hair?

hi all

im 35 y old and have 60% of gray hair already.

i tryed many brands for coloring hair but results were disastrous ...

finaly i found one brand (naturtint) and im very happy using it (natural chesnut brown).

But...

My skin is light and the color of the hair that im geting using naturtint brown is dark brown.

I tryed using light colors (like light brown....) but light colors dont cover my gray hairs!!

Why is that?

Why light colors (that probably would match my skin) does not stick to my gray hairs?

If i use darker colors they usually cover 100% of my grays but dark does not match to my skin!

I really like naturtint because is natural, but i also tryed loreal and other brands and i get same results- if color is light - it will not cover my grays.

I dont want to go to salon cuz im afraid hars hemicals they are using will damage my hair!

any help?

Why i have hard time coloring my hair?

Has anybody used loreal color pulse? im planning to use funky cherry but my hair is black, will it w

my hair is like dark brown to black, idk if this product will owkr on my though...

Has anybody used loreal color pulse? im planning to use funky cherry but my hair is black, will it work?

If you want it to actually be bright cherry colored, you are going to have to lighten your hair first - otherwise you will just have brownish-red hair. STRONGLY recommend having a professional - even one at a cheapie chain - do it for you the first time, otherwise you risk destroying your hair.

Has anybody used loreal color pulse? im planning to use funky cherry but my hair is black, will it work?

you should lighten your hair first then do the cherry look
